Never mind Itachi and Nagato, Gaara hype is getting out of hand...

Hi,

Lets forget about Itachi and Nagato for a second.

Whats up with the GAARA HYPE? Ever since he pulled out Edo Madara Uchiha out of his INCOMPLETE VERSION 2 SUSANOO some people think that Gaara is some kind of GOD!

I have seen stuff like: "Gaara defeats Itachi/Nagato/Jiraiya", "Gaara is the strongest Kage alive", "Gaara is strongest Kage ever" "Gaara can take on SM Naruto/MS Sasuke and win" etc.

They also tend to downgrade Deidara's victory... while it was a semi-fair fight and Deidara was at a disadvantage because he had limited amount of clay for C1 bombs and only 1 C3 bomb!

What do you think about this? Is Gaara really "that" strong?

I think Gaara is very strong, maybe not as strong as Nagato ( but he got beat by Naruto soo). Itachi is very powerful but overrated more often than not..People think Itachi is a god..He's not. But anyway Garra rules!!

well in my opinion gaara can be beaten you just need incredible speed or incredible jutsu to defeat him, also itachi would win if he gets caught in genjutsu, so id say no.

Kages who was/always will be better in my opinion will be:

pretty much all hokages and raikages and some more i dont want to write too much

It all started when Gaara beat some edo kage (I forgot his name)

Gaara is strong but he lost to a handicapped level Deidara who couldn't use c2-c4 and c0.

Gaara is fine as he is, not overpowered with lots up in his sleeve but stil able to be defeated, people just overrate him cuz we all gotta keep in mind Deidara f'd him up and he still would if he wuldn't be dead.

well id say he can be beaten by probably jiraiya too if jiraiya starts in SM, he has the speed and strength, intelligence and jutsu to beat gaara.

I agree theres too much hype, but the fact still stands that gaara was at more of a disadvantage since he had to look after the village as well as himself. (its in the manga)

Also gaara is without a doubt for a fact an beyond immeasurably powerful guy, but he has been overhyped lately.

gaara is strong but he never was overrated never heard of someone claiming he is stonger than itachi,nagato and was not trolling and nobody overrates him because of madara everybody knows oonoki lightend his sand and gaara only took him out of incomplete susanoo

That is what I mean, where does it in the manga say or display that Gaara is Intelligent?

The only Intelligent Shinobi's I have seen in the manga are (some more intelligent than others, no order or ranks):

- Itachi
- Orochimaru
- Jiraiya
- Minato
- Shikimaru
- SO6P
- Kakashi
- Sasuke
- Tobi
- Deidara
