For some reason I pictured a chubby white boy when I read this post. There is not many people in this world with the skill required to whoop my ass. You are not on my level in any way. NB would be full of cupcakes without me you didn't even sound convincing enough to take you seriously.
There are billions of people in this world, i'm sure your ass would get wrecked by a good number of them, drop the cockiness bruh.

many will probably say that losing is worse, but i don't think so. everybody will eventually lose their parents, or in some cases parents will lose their children. so on that note, that pain is not so uncommon. although there are many orphans who never knew their parents, there is significantly less than those that do know their parents then lose them. but those that knew their parents get the benefit of having fond memories to look back on. they got to experience that love that is suppose to come with having parents.

on the other hand, you have someone like naruto. they have seen other people have that love, that bond with their parents. Yet they are always alone, or having to move from one foster parent to another. to me that is a much worse fate then at least having had that love in your life. people say you can't miss something you never had. while true you can't miss it, but you can be sad that you never had it. you can envy people and having that envy can lead to people doing bad things to get what they want to experience at least once.

The crap I'm reading in the last couple pages reminds me why I don't post much in these kinds of threads. It's disheartening. Not even sure what you are trying to accomplish by provoking someone with those statements, Vapid. I just can't take you seriously with the shit you're posting. Darth: Venting your anger towards him won't stop him. There's is no way that would work.

I have mental, physical and personal problems, but you don't see me bringing my sob story to NB in an attempt to garner some feels, now do you?

But you could just tolerate him. Instead of trying to expand problems you know he have. If you truly know pain dont make others feel more of it.
He might just need some support.

hey, at least this thread wasn't filled with the tools who try to hit on girls in some attempt to get nudes.

Then, he loses his family in one night. Sees a Tsukiyomi for 24 hours of the clan being slaughtered. He's 8 at the time. He has no relation to the clan, bar his aunt, uncle, Fugaku, Mikoto, and Itachi. So, seeing the rest dead is just the same as seeing random bodies. Which most of the shinobi verse at younger ages has been exposed to (during the war era, kids didn't just see dead bodies for a 24 hour period... they saw thousands for months to years on end being killed. They were exposed to this at a younger age than 8.)
^So, Sasuke had one terrible day. It gave him his tragic past. But others have seen worse in the war era and remained more rational and mentally strong.
bold. no offense chie but i get slightly annoyed with statements like that. just because people may have experienced worse things than sasuke and didtt stray doesnt mean sasuke should have acted like them, ive seen many people say that and frankly its wrong why? because we all react to things differently. you taking it easy and not so hard doesnt mean i should, sasuke acting how he did its just hows hes dealing with the situation or rather how he chooses to deal with it. we are not all the same so i dont see why many hold it against sasuke for acting irrational just because others who lost loved ones dont act the same way, we all deal with situations differently and not everyone can react the same way. others handling it well still doesnt change the fact of what sasuke experienced and if he chooses to keep it deep in his heart and not let go, i dont see how its a problem. its just how he chooses to deal with his loss which he is entitled to.

The main problem was who killed Sasuke's parents- that being Itachi. Itachi was someone who he admired. However, even this is not the best excuse when the fact that Sasuke slightly despised Itachi pre-massacre because he was jealous that he was more talented and received more praise is brought up. He wanted to surpass Itachi to get acknowledgement and all the attention, his older brother was just an obstacle to him, deep down in his heart. The whole Uchiha brotherly love concept is questionable given this. It doesn't seem sincere on Sasuke's behalf given his actions in this manga, it's only real on Itachi's end towards Sasuke.
why do i have the feeling that you are trying to slight sasukes situation slightly? could be wrong tho. sasuke never truly despised itachi, thats just simple sibling rivary he felt. he wanted acknowledgement because of how his father always talked about itachi and didnt pay him much attention, it doesnt mean sasuke in his heart didnt love him less, he just to be better than what he was to get his fathers approval. sasuke looked up to itachi, he admired and wanted to be like him. have you forgotten how sad he always is when itachi flick his forehead and leaves him? esp when sasuke wants to follow him or to train him. theres nothing questionable about thier bond, you can see your brother as a stepping stone(sasukes case} doesnt mean you love them less. and what do you mean by it sint sincere by his actions? everything sasuke does he always has itachi and his clan at the back of his mind. the way itachi lived his life is what opened sasukes eyes and he is mirroring that by his present objecting. sasuke loves itachi and vice versa, nothing is insincere here.

After the massacre, Sasuke tries to attack his older brother nukenin, decides to leave Konoha, etc. However, everything at this point and beyond is not something to feel sympathy for, keeping in mind that any pain Sasuke feels was self-inflicted and still is today.
and itachi has always shown care? isnt he the same guy who beat up sasuke, smacked him to the wall and mindraped him telling him he is weak? all this to a 12 yr old boy, if i were to use your logic then i would itachis love was not sincere. whether or not sasuke chooses what he doesnt change the fact of his past, it cant be erased, he would always think of it and it is what has shaped him up today like the sage says. i stated earlier we all deal with things differently so i find it laughable when i see shit like "x character had it bad also but he is not acting irrational unlike y", its a bit stupid imo.

Sasuke as a character has felt more pain than Naruto throughout their entire lives. However, this is only because he seeks to inflict pain unto himself, whether he realizes it or not. Sympathy is not something called for when regarding Sasuke's character. Naruto decided to put the past behind him in the way of not letting it decide who he is, but still keeps it in mind to recall that his motivation for staying good is to avoid going back to those dreary days.
same as what i stated above, that argument is flawed imo.

OT. imo both are bad and one would never want to experience. but i find losing something you cherished right in your eyes to be a tad more painful than not having that thing in the first place, just me tho.

is it better to have loved and lost or to have never loved at all? Clearly, loving and losing is better because at least you knew that love. To never have parents would be the worse thing esp in naruto's situation because he was shunned by the entire village too. A child needs parents even if only for a lil while. Imagine growing up never knowing the feeling of having someone who unconditionally loves you and supports you.

How you turn out after you lose your parents is your decision but to be deprived of that decision altogether is a real loss.

for those who think sasuke's situation is worse, think about this. while sasuke was at his home having dinner with his family, naruto was home by himself eating ramen. tell me he wasn't missing a mom and dad then. while sasuke trained with itachi in the woods, naruto sat on a swing and watched other people play or be with their families. sasuke losing his family just gave him a taste of what naruto went through his whole life.

@uchiha senju great post. Not only did he see his parents die right before him, it was done by the brother who meant the world to him. He later found out that itachi had to do it because it was a secret mission assigned to him by leaf, and that the brother he once hated and lived to kill was actually never evil but the same brother from back in his childhood that meant the world to him.
