Is the whole idea of natural rights flawed? Hypothetically if you gave every man, woman, and child natural rights there would be a wide variety of conflicts. Sort of like some people saying all men should be free, well if someone doesn't view someone of a different ethnic group as being human, Is it the laws fault for not being specific enough? But then they would be telling people what to think rather than enforce a law. Freedom of speech doesn't give you the freedom to say whatever you see fit because through the year the government (United States) has put limits on what people have the freedom of saying. On top of that if anyone belittles a well known religion such as Islam, or Christianity the whole freedom of speech idea is thrown out the window, Example when the people who made south park had the episode where they basically ridiculed all the well known religious figures they had to censor Mohammed because of all the threats from people of the Islamic (not all but a substantial number). And John Locke's Natural rights to Life, Liberty, and Property. Life should DEFINITELY be a natural right, but doesn't giving people with varying opinions the same liberties lead to often times violent conflicts? Giving all people right to property is a fantasy because as soon as the government decides that they want to build a road or highway where your house is the can basically force you out (they will compensate you) but what if you don't want to move and a getting signatures for a petition fails, Oh well you say goodbye to your house. Television shouldn't be censored but the Tv viewers must be smarter in what they watch. Fox and most news show are complete bullshit and some naive people truly believe every single thing said on the news smh. Please tell me if I missed any other paradox's. Or maybe you wish to refute one of mine. In this life I only seek Knowledge, truth, enlightenment, and happiness. So debate me if you disagree. That being said tell me what you think.
