^ that is where ppl got the Neutralizer jutsu from.. I guess its like Hiruzen's version of a Genjutsu Reflector(itachi) ..
he's only able to stop a certain (power) level of "summon" or "nin"jutsu?

While i wasn't serious about the Neutralizer thing since everyone knows its just for laughs Kabuto's explanations has plotholes as well. Minato couldn't have been the one in the coffin because the ritual would have failed due to his soul being sealed.

Kishi's uncertainty maybe? , but this could be something Kishi could add into the story and say it was perhaps Orochimaru's attempt at summoning Shisui , but keeping Shisui a secret from Kabuto because of his KA power & KA potentially using Shisui to control Orochimaru or something. Orochimaru was working with Danzo(the man who stole Shisui's eye) and Shisui's life/death could still pretty much be a mystery & the guy in the spiral Zetsu hair's looked darker than Yamato's and shaded black instead of presented as brown , but could've been the shadows. Lol

they have cloning in nv and madara was revived with his eyes which he didn't die with

Didn't get a chance to see if the coffin would open, Hiruzen stopped it.

But as Kazekaine said, the Edo Tenseis only go into the coffins after they are resurrected. So really, while Orochimaru couldn't summon Minato because he was sealed in the Shinigami, there may had been someone else in the 3rd coffin.
