Everyone's a nerd about something, so yes. Are we the stereotype nerd? Not sure. Every single person is different. Just because we're on a forum doesn't make us the stereotypical nerd. Anyway, am I a nerd? Yes. Am a stereotypical one? Sort of. I don't wear what they wear or act how they do or am smart really. I'm just quiet and like "nerdy" things.

I love calling myself a "nerd". I take pride in it.
People's first impression of me usually is that I'm some "cool" guy who's into stupid stuff like partying, smoking weed, and doing drugs. I really hate that. Preps/jocks thought I belonged with them in high school, but "nerds" are truly my people.

I wear superhero apparel to make it clear that I'm into geeky things.

And yeah, spending hours on here is pitiful. Reading or working out would be better ways to spend extra time. Your brother's half-right, I'd say.
