( Katon: Honoo no Saigai Hi Kagayaku no Jutsu ) - Fire Release: Flame of Disaster Fire Shine Technique
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user releases a flame of fire chakra that converges on the opponent wrapping around them and burning them.
Three advantages (no obvious ones, be creative): 1.It wraps around the opponent cutting off escape routew without touching the flames. 2. It can be done from a medium range and adds time to retreat to a safe distance. 3. You can throw kunai, shuriken, or other weapons/ jutsus. Three disadvantages (no obvious ones, be creative): 1.It hides the enemy and you cant see if it hit or not. 2.The enemy could reverse it onto you at a short range. 3.It has to touch the opponent to be super affective Strategies and combinations:Use this technique and a small wind technique to turn it into a blaze or to send it to long range. How you would counter it: Make a stream of wind chakra to re-direct the fire to the one who did the jutsu. How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):Make the appropriate hand seals and blow out the flame and focus it onto the opponent and jump backwards after throwing a few kunai with paper bombs and flash bombs at them so he/she is distracted and hurt and start to shoot off more jutsu’s and maybe a Genjutsu.
Be-careful using wind to re-direct fire at your target. In your next reply see if you can find a wind jutsu that would accomplish this feat, along with your reply to the third and final C-rank fire jutsu. ^^
( Katon: Rakka Sanran Kasai ) - Fire Release: Falling Fire Scatter
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user whilst in mid air will release from their mouth a series of small fire shots that rain down upon the target.
Three advantages (no obvious ones, be creative): 1. You will be able to spread it over a larger area the higher up in the air you are. 2. You can be preforming the jutsu from the back of a jumping/ flying summoning. 3. You can hide kunai or shuriken behind the volley. Three disadvantages (no obvious ones, be creative): 1. Since you are in mid air the opponent could attack you before you land on the ground or kick off from a tree. 2. The opponent could use an Earth Style jutsu to sink under the ground. 3. If the opponent was standing on a river or lake they could release the chakra in their feet to sink bellow the water and miss the attack, also causing a smoke screen of steam to rise up to you. Strategies and combinations: Use shuriken behind it so that if the opponent dodges into water the shuriken would keep going far enough to hit them. You could also use a flash bomb or smoke bomb at the opponents feet to blind/ distract them before jumping up to preform the jutsu. How you would counter it: Dodge under ground with an Earth Style jutsu, or substitute yourself with a wooden log, Or have a clone reverse-summon you to them. (Like naruto does with his clones that have amassed Toad Sage Chakra when fighting Pain) How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I would do as ive said above with the Flash/Smoke (probably both if not ne that mixes both) bomb. I would also have a clone off to the side incase I needed a really quick escape, I would also use this as a finishing jutsu, when the opponent is weakened, or low on chakra. I would also be sure to check the surrounding area, possibly using a shadow clone to contain them, if not another jutsu to restrain them.
Okay, so from now on you don't need to use the template. However I expect you to give your own analysis of the jutsu and cover essentially the same points as the template as well as your opinion on the jutsu being taught. Also perform it unless I state otherwise.
( Katon: Kitsunebi ) - Fire Release: Fire Whisp
Rank: C
Type: Offensive
Range: Short - Long
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: 30
Description: The user creates a small ball of bright fire from their mouth that shoots at the opponent burning on impact.
Just a ball of fire shot from your mouth, pretty standard there. Though you'll want to make it as hot and bright as possible so it resembles a flare of sorts in both size and brightness.
You can't change the colour of your jutsu unless it is a part of a CFS or Custom Clan's abilities... or another Custom Jutsu.
( Katon: Karyū Endan ) - Fire Release: Fire Dragon Flame Bullet
Rank: B
Type: Offense
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: 40
Description: The user first performs seven handseals Ram → Horse → Snake → Dragon → Rat → Ox → Tiger and kneads chakra into flames, which are then manipulated and exhaled as a thin yet incredibly fast jet of flames that spread across the ground as it runs towards the enemy. Its temperature is such that it easily melts the ground as it travels and can reduce an enemy to ash.
Using the seven hand seals to focus your fire chakra into your gut, you'll then release a thin jet of flames onto the groud that rapidly spreads out along the ground to burn anything in its path.
Tell me how you'd use this in battle, would you use it in battle? Combinations and counters, uses in battle etc. Don't give me one line responses last time as I'll simply keep you back longer.
Note the wide dispersion in the picture, it spread out as wide as short range while it can reach targets long-range away.
I would, possibly, use this as a cover for physical attacks; such as kunai and shuriken.
Doing so would also allow you to move to another, tactical, or strategic position.
I would use another fire jutsu to make the flames stronger and thicker. I could also use a earth style to trap them, and use this jutsu to hurt them more.
To counter it you could always use a higher level water jutsu, Or you can use the Earth Wall, Mountain, or Mud Wall jutsus.
You could also summon the gates that orochimaru uses to stop jutsus every now and then.
So this is a streaming jutsu, not a fire ball or fire blast jutsu. Can you tell me the differences between fire streams and fire balls, as well as the limitations they may or may not impose on the user?
Also, wouldn't something that creates a mountain (like the earth release you kinda mentioned in your response) take a great deal of time to activate?
What are the problems with you using a static defence that is larger than you, such as Rashamon Gates and the like?
Fire Streams: Fire streams are jutsu that send out pure flames, that can travel along wire or the ground, to burn your opponent or create a wall of fire.
Fire Streams can move in a wider range. (I.e. they can spread farther, or be released as you turn)
Fire Streams can be used to light multiple fuses or paper bobs at a time, where as fireballs can not without being forced in a direction
Fire streams can also be used to create a wall between you and your opponent allowing you to run as they shield themselves from the light and heat of the flames
Fire streams are more flexible than a fire ball
Limitations are:
They can not really be pin pointed to one spot
Unlike the Grand Fire Ball Jutsu, it can not create a hole in the earth after going out (The heat and size dig up, or melt the earth)
They are sometimes smaller than a fireball jutsu, and require more chakra if they are bigger
They can not be sized as easily as fireballs can
The fire streams can not make as big a wall for cover as a fire ball
Fire Balls: A fire ball is a jutsu that creates a ball (Sizes dependent on chakra and skill set) of pure fire, Used to attack an enemy, or flee by making a wall.
Advantages:
Can create a bigger cover then the stream
Can cause fire damage by being a more direct attack.
Can be sized as needed
You can release many small fireballs or a few large ones, but only one stream
Limitations:
Can not spread as easily
Usually follow one path
Mostly easy to avoid or dodge
Can take longer to build up the chakra to release a bigger fireball
Have to use multiple small balls to be able to spin and attack in multiple directions.
The problems with creating a static defense is that it takes a while to amass chakra needed for most, and you also have to focus to keep the chakra going. It also blocks your view of what your opponent might or might not be doing.
You've missed a critical point that I was looking for. A fire stream requires constant streaming of chakra, usually by releasing the flame from your mouth. If you stop the flow of chakra, the fire stream no longer travels towards your target. Where as a fire ball contains all the chakra it need to continue moving towards your target, before exploding/striking etc.
Then think of it like a flame-thrower vs throwing a ball of paper that you have set on fire O__O'
To answer your question... you be the rank of the last jutsu you learnt. Meaning you are now B-rank.
Moving on...
Find me pictures of the following, as well as analysing them; including advantages/disadvantages, uses, combinations, counters etc.
( Bakuhatsu Enhogan ) – Exploding Flame Shots
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user shoots multiple fire shots from their hands that are able to cause fiery explosions on impact with any object. The shots can't set the opponent on fire, though they can cause damage by exploding on him.
By channelling fire chakra into your hands, you are able to throw explosive ball of fire at your target, that explode on impact. They don't set things on fire though, as the flame extinguish after detonation.
( Katon: Hiendan ) – Fire Release: Soaring Flame Bullet
Rank: B
Type: Offense, Deffence
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40
Description: The user exhales a stronger yet shorter version of the Fire Release: Great Fireball technique.
Yeah... what the description says O__O'
It's basically a more rounded ball and about the size of a person.
