So I was watching part 1 episodes and there was this flashback with neji and his dad watching hinata and her dad train. Then Nejis father activates his byakugan and hinatas dad does something to him and tells neji to take his father home. Can someone explain what the hell happened in that scene?

Neji's father is from the branch family. Members of the main family can cause extreme pain to branch family because the branch family have this seal on their heads which main family members can manipulate with a hand seal.
If im thinkin right he activated his curse mark to put nejis dad in check , i foget exactly why he did anymore but i think he was ponderin attacking hinata , all hyuga branch family has the curse mark to keep them in check from the main house
