First I heard someone say a death was rushed. It was sudden and unexpected, but I wouldn't say rushed.

And if you can manage to ignore the NH pairing opportunity, his death was indeed significant:

He sacrificed his life for Hinata, and was at peace with his decision to do it (major character growth), plus his death shook Naruto enough to cause him to lose resolve.

just the opposite. Naruto didnt seem to give a damn, hes death was quite poorly felt by the characters.

If Neji died there.. This would've never happened and 'thus the villain Obito would win.

Which resulted in the endless slapping of the Uzumaki..

and then the Manga was over and everyone had children and lived happy for ever and ever except that time when everyone believed Karin was Sarada mother.

His death was completely rushed without any buildup. Neji didn't get any development at all in part two and the first panel he appears in after a long time, he dies. :umm: This means Kishimoto only pulled Neji out of nowhere to kill him and use him as a plot device/fodder. The problem here is it is super obvious and that shouldn't be the case.

Dang you deserve a rep for this. First time in a long time I saw such logic for this topic.

Naruto for once in his life felt like he could never save his friends. Yet you said Naruto never gave a damn? Lmao

Because Neji was a cool character :scorps:
Why you do dis????!!! :dafq:

Only a "cool" character? Not attractive or sexy? This is why I say your heart is in the sand.

Well, If Neji died in the end of part1 adding to the fact that naruto failed in saving sasuke it would be logical to make him train non-stop for 2-3 years and train harder than he used to train with Jiraiya. But when writing the thread I didnt care a single bit about Naruto.

The thing is there was a devolopment for Neji and it was getting emotional and story went multiple times on Neji's view about the shinobi. If you are going to kill him in part2 thats fine but at least give that guy a panel and dont kill him like a fodder. Also he survived from far worse attacks from that spider guy it is stupid that he can get soloed by that thing

Stop! Neji is your favorite. You can never forget him.

Well, I never forgot him. But it's annoying to cry over a character.

I think the biggest issue I have with Neji's death was that it wasnt like he was fighting someone directly, It was like a piece of wood which really they should have just dodged instead of the stupid heroic "i will block it with my body" pose. Especially since seconds later Naruto gets a burst of energy and gives every single person chakra, then later has the ability to revive people on the brink of death with the S06P power (Gai). It should have been Hinatas dad to die and end the branch and main family in the hyugga which is never referenced again.
