I doubt you're gonna get a lot posts on this thread, since most people are over it.

But to answer your question,

I think i was pretty sad when he died, but now I'm really over it.

Honestly it didn't affect me too badly. He was absent for a good portion of Part 2, and it just happened too fast for me to appreciate. His Part 1 "death" has a better atmosphere.

The best part about it was the aftermath, and seeing how Naruto would cope with it. Lee's revenge face was pretty sweet as well.

I still think that Kishi fodderised the wrong member of the Konoah 11. neji should not have died. Tenten or even Kiba would have been better off kicking the bucket. Neji had alot more to prove, especially being a hyuuga. the secrets of Byakugan. All we have seen of Kiba is Fang over Fang, and beastmode Wolf Fang over Fang.

I miss Neji. He was one of my top three from Konoah Eleven.

My only thoughts were: who cares? He had like two good scenes in the first part, and only one of them painted him in a somewhat positive light. Since then he has just faded away into obscurity. I don't understand why we were expected to care about his death more than the other countless people who have fallen in this so-called war.

Neji was definitely trolled by Kishi. He had so much potential.. I mean in shippuden he was the only jounin among the K11.No?
He could have been a beast of a character and using him Kishi could have shown us more of the Byakugan..but he is going to do that with Hinata ofcourse.. Even though he wasnt given hardly any roles to play in this series he is for sure going to be missed by me..

So then by your logic Sasuke, and Kakashi should die to because they were known as being a genius during their adolescence. Neji did not do anything to fulfill his "destiny" he was given hardly any time on the screen.

He like many other interesting characters was under developed. Why did most of k11 only have at tops two or three solo fights and only in part one. I would have liked to see a gaidens of the k11 members and seen serious solo fights by them. Some one part one kakashi's level beating down on neji then neji overcoming with some well written strategy would have been cool.

Rip neji. He was a non emo good guy version of sasuke. He seemed elite now if we see anything more about the byakugon its from shy ass Hinata who only talks when saying she loves naruto.

People would have cared even less if Tenten had been the one to die. Rock Lee and Neji at least had solid back stories that would have made it kind of sad whichever died. But yea, Neji didn't do much in part 2 and I didn't really care.

Well, this is an old topic, but who cares.
Neji is my 3rd favorite charater from Naruto, he had a great potential, solid background and interesting personality; which is something most of the k11 members lack. Lee and Neji are the strongest of k11 other than Naruto and Sasuke, and killing one of them like that was wrong; also right after his death, Kishi showed Naruhina up to our faces which was something made me cringe. He can die at any point of the story, but give us some battle scenes before that for God's sake. And in the end, what did Neji change, he still died for a main family member whom he was refering with the honorific of -sama, if they were firends, why would he call her Hinata-sama, she was youger than him, this only means main family is still superior to the branch family...And if there would be a byakugan development, Neji should be involved too, like i said, he had been tossed aside because he was not an elite main family member like Hinata. Yes, i am not interested in Hinata that much, Neji was the one who deserved any further Hyuuga development.
I hope his death has more purposes than Naruhina; the only good outcome of his death was Lee's reaction and him kicking Madara in half.

Well I think he died in a shit way to be honest Kishi's lack of development for the Hyuga in general was a major let down considering what he could have done with them.
