I think it's just now starting to hit me that Neji is dead. When it first happened in the Manga it honestly didn't really effect me much. I had close to no emotion come out when he died, but now after seeing him in old episodes and seeing threads about him it's starting to hit me. Anybody else feel like this? Same goes for Shiki's dad.

i felt sad when he (neji weji) first died, then i realized he was alive and he and choji were both rescued in time..
But when he really DIED, i didnt know the chapter was out, and i saw one of the thread titles hinting that neji was dead
instead of sakura

If we could not relate any of the characters; we wouldn't like the series in the first place, that's why their "death" makes people sad.

There's nothing wrong with becoming slightly attached to a character you liked. As long as you don't take it to the point of actually mourning over it like a real life death.

As for the OP, yes, even now it's sometimes hard to accept, especially if you liked the character a lot. I find myself affected the same way in games sometimes, too.

Neji is one of my favs and it's still sad he's gone, but until the manga's over I'm not jumping to any conclusions.

I was like, wait what...(Rereads manga pages) ...Oh! SNAP! Neji's Down! Neji's Down! Oh well, moving on, personally I think we just scratched the surface of seeing main character deaths, but that's just me.

Well no death affects or bothers me in this series and why should it when you can bring people back from the daed with the literal flick of a wrist.

side note people were clamoring like rabid dogs last fall for a death and when it happened people kind of shrugged Neji's passing off, that's life I guess....

Well I cried almost everytime someone died. I mean yeah so what I'm a girl that doesn't mean im really sensative. i cried when jiraya,itachi,neji,asuma died and Gaara:'(

I was pretty sad that he died. Then Lee, my second fave character came along and started crying. That really made me miss Neji at that point. :T_T:
