It is clear that some peoeple are still holding onto some faint notion that Neji isnt dead. Apparently they are stuck in one of the phases that have been listed below.
Stages 1-3 occurs the day the chapter comes out to about several days after
1st-stage: shock
2nd-stage: depression
3rd-stage: denial
Stages 4-6 occurs a few days afterwards until the next chapter arrives
4th-stage: excuse
5th-stage: hope
6th-stage: confidence
Stages 6-9 occurs on the day when the chapter comes out and the days following
7th-stage: crushed (has yet to come)
8th-stage: passing (has yet to come)
9th-stage: remembrance (has yet to come)
These are the stages for most people who has seen their favorite character killed. Right now most people are on 4-6 stage. The seventh step comes in later after the next chapter confirms their death.
Of course, some fans skipped stage 2 and went straight to stage 7 or 8(depending on how big of a fan you were,) like I did, since we knew that this was inevitable and were prepared for it anyways.
We must all accept that Neji is gone and that it is highly unlikely and also very unwanted for him or any other shinobi who has died/will die to be revived since it makes the war seem less realistic to the readers. If it ever does happen, then we'll celebrate at that time, but until then, your shouldn't get your hopes up about him not being dead and leave the topic be for when the next chapter comes out.
