Neji vs Kidomaru

How could Kidomaru see Neji when he was so far away from him, and had tons of trees blocking his view. Neji had the best eyes in that fight and he couldn't see Kidomaru?

he could see cuz he could see him not only that he figured out nejis blind spot. and kidomaru was a long range fighter and thats nejis weakness. kidomaru also figured out his blind spot and stayed his distance so he couldnt be harmed by the gentle fist

I'm saying Kidomaru was extremely far away and the Byakugan has the largest field of vision out of all the dojutsus, I don't see how kido could see neji and assess him so effortlessly.
