Neji, Pein, or Itachi

Why are you using Pain? Use Nagato instead. I don't think it's fair you're putting one part of Nagato in a fight. All of the Paths of Pain are basically parts of Nagato.

I'd say Nagato would win. Itachi second, and Neji Last. You said nothing about Dojutsu.
(I remember how buff/fast/strong Nagato was when he almost OHKO'd Bee and Naruto)


That means Itachi can read people's movements with Sharingan, and dodge them, and Nagato can use Rinnegan and OWN them. And Neji could use Byakugan to see through their clothes.

But besides that, Neji has Taijutsu swag. Nagato and Itachi have complete Dojutsu/Ninjutsu swag. You can't compare people with different swagger. You basically just took all of Nagato/Itachi's swag away saying they can't use Ninjutsu, and made them face the Fresh Prince of Taijutsu.

Situation: Neither one of them can use Ninjutsu such as Fire Style: Fireball Jutsu, 8 Trigrams Air Palm, or Almight Push. No Genjutsu either. There is only one Pein.

I'm not sure between neji and itachi. I know neji uses the gentle fist but couldn't sharingan copy that? Certainly did the trick with rock lees strong fist style

databook is inconsistent. I still based the facts on what we saw in manga. kakashi and itachi had the same hand seal in the databook, but do you agree with it?

one path of pain was able to completely block a punch coming from sage mode jiraiya with frog katas, and I doubt gentle fist is stronger than sage mode.

The databook statistics are inconsistent when the values of two people's abilities are 5, even though one would still have a greater ability in that one area.

Since 5 is the highest define value, that should be limit of a person's mastery in that area, though there are some people have greater abilities than that, and, if possible, would be considered a 6, or even a 7.

When it comes to lower, more defined values is when everything makes sense.

3.5 is clearly lower than 4.5, and therefore shows a significant gap in their taijutsu level.

Again just because a taijutsu is stronger, doesn't make it more effective. The gentle fist is gentle for a reason. all the person would have to do is touch the opponent to do damage to their body.

Itachi obviously, just because Neji studied it his whole life doesnt mean he could win

Itachi whos taijutsu is equal if not better than Kakashis
And im pretty sure Kakashis taijutsu is still better than Neji as far as we know (Havent seen Neji in awhile

Actually, in this case, it does mean a difference if one does study taijutsu their whole life. It means that they are more experienced in that specific area of taijutsu, even if one is slighty older than the other. In databook, all of their taijutsu stats are 4.5 meaning that all of them are fairly equal when it comes to taijutsu. Databook is not inconsistent here only because their stats are not 5.

The rinnegan cannot read movements like the sharingan.

The sharingan could copy the movements, but not the actual style itself, mostly because it requires precise chakra control and the byakugan in order to be effective.

Neji's skills are all taijutsu ( -__-). If there is only one Pein then that means that it is up to us to decide which Pein we want to use since there are six path's of Pein. Itachi uses Sharingan which is used to keep up with an enemies body movements. I'd go with Itachi since he has MS which could keep up with all taijutsu. We can eliminate Neji since he was being scraped by Zetsu on the first day of the war( c'mon son)

Neji, for the most part, is a taijutsu-based shinobi, though he has several other ninjutsus to help him. If gai and Lee were put in this, then they would demolish the whole field in their gates mode.
