Neji on Destiny, Fate and Enduring.

I thought the thread title meant having a modified character in the game Destiny looking like Neji.

So, why Kenzi above your avy?

For example dying to the spider guy in Sasuke retrieval arc.Seriously there are countless ways to have him die in a worthful manner.Just cant be bothered to think of em all right now

When Kishimoto said that moment/death was only intended to create a pairing moment for NH,it literally trashed him

He would have never died for anything if he had died sooner. Atleast now he is remembered for making a important pairing happen in this series. For a side character like him this should be seen as a blessing. Since he is now seen as one of the most important characters of this series.

He essentially died just like his father did. To protect his village and the ones he cared about.

Thats the thing.He did not even make it happen.It was just a moment.It died with him as Naruto still didnt get along with Hinata until 2 years later and Neji isnt referenced in the movie for NH pairing

The underlying reason is kishi's motives t NH. I agree. But don't act as if he died and said "get together with Hinata". The guy died with his own conviction to protect the Hinata and Naruto (who in return ended up saving the world.) His final words where his understanding on how is late father felt.

And you're talking about pairings and shit.


Pisses me off how you can't talk about Hinata or Neji without pairings being involved.

I wish Neji had more Part II development. I remember being shocked by his death - simply because of how unexpected it was. I even thought it was Hiashi before I saw the cursed seal. My reaction wasn't even sadness or anything, just the plain old "wat".

His overall character in Part I was interesting, especially since TnJ wasn't overused back then.

Jiraiya died because Naruto had to understand Sasuke. Itachi died because Sasuke had to realize his love for him.
Authors always kill characters for a reason and it doesn't really matter why they die. It only matters how they die and how it affects the characters around them.

Just look on Asumas death. I didn’t care much for him as a character but Shikamaru and his Team did. They have been made because of that death to be better characters and that is a good thing.

Nejis death was one of the most well written deaths I’ve ever seen. He had to prove that he was free and he did it like his father. Choosing his own death and dying for the people he cared the most. Hinata was like a sister to him and Naruto was the one who freed him from the bounds of hatred.

The sad part was is that Kishimoto saw it nothing more as a pairing cupid BS.

Difference is those characters had heroic deaths.All of the character deaths you listed actually feel emotional especially in the anime

Also Kishi said that Jiriaya was intended to be revived with Nagato's Rebirth jutsu but he had no idea how to handle Naruto's reaction to Jiriaya being revived apparently hence he left him dead

How was Neji's death not Heroic? Neji was emotional during his death....
