If Sakura has the Yin seal, why do people say she can't regenerate, it is because she doesn't have the feats of doing so. Similarly, Lee can open sixth gate but since he doesn't have the feats of using Asakujaku, that technique should be taken with a grain of salt.

The gates allows you to release tens of time more power than usual...please show me what feats he doesn't have that suggest he can't
What exactly did Gai do to suggest he could before he was shown using it ?

Obviously Gai taught Lee how to open the Gates

Lee can use Hidden Lotus and Primary lotus ...All taught by Gai...Gai obviously taught Lee how to open the 6th gates and he can also use asakujaku

Gai is still a better version of Lee. Just because he can do something it doesn't mean Lee can do it either, regardeless of how many gates are needed to use the said taijutsu. 6th gate Gai =/= 6th gate Lee.
Saying they're on the same level just because they open the same number of gates is still jumping into conclusions no matter how implied it is that Lee can reproduce Gai's feats.

No it's not the same...you guys are just using that as an excuse...how the gates work is completely different

Its the exact same thing, except with different techniques. Its extremely possible but its yet to be seen.
Lee isn't able to open the 6th gate because Gai teached him, Lee can open the 6th gate because after Gai teached him how to open the gates in general, then Lee trained hard and achieved that level of mastery over the gates. With time he'll be able to open all of them. Gai stopped having anything to do with it the moment Lee opened the 1st gate.

Proof would be a scan or link to page showing Lee using it. For now its only a matter of speculation and opinion because at the end of the day Gai > Lee.
I entirely believe its possible, but i want to see it to fully confirmed.

This doesn't mean Lee can't perform the same taijutsus, but Gai is better in terms of physical condition and therefore has an edge, that's why i need confirmation to include Asakujaku in Lee's arsenal.

I think what people mean is Gai is not setting the minimum required for Asakujaku, gates limits are.
For ex. if Asakujaku requires 100 units of power; Gai might have 120 and Lee might have 105.

Anyway 6th gate is not needed for this matchup.

You don't need to be at Gai's level to execute Asa Kujaku. Primary Lotus is a 1G technique and Lee can execute that technique at 1G although if Gai was to use Primary Lotus at 1G, his would be stronger than Lee's. Plus, when Gai was talking about the techniques utilized from Gates, he wasn't referring to himself, he was speaking in general, so anyone who can open 1G can use the Primary Lotus, anyone who can open 3G can use the Reverse Lotus, anyone who can open 6G can use Asa Kujaku and etc.

Lee would blitz that guy.....he has no speed feats and would be rushed before he can do anything...if you believe they would stand there like fools and not cover the distance quickly, then that's fan fic
