I figure Neji & Mu are pretty close in power already and adding another guy so 2 on 1 is gonna be a bit to deal with and with: Shadow Clone Jutsu, Rasengan, Burning Ash Jutsu, he did good enough to catch Temari a high level jonin off guard even if just for a second.
