In the beginning of Naruto there were things told and revealed that were no more in use as it went by for example:

The Sharingan is said to be able to copy an opponents justu and use it against them just as how Kakashi used it against Zabuza but as the episode went by we were no more seeing those features in sharingan users again, Madara did not use his sharingan to copy any justu to use it has his own or against his opponents neither did sasuke and even they didn't even use illusions again

If madara had copied the five kages justus and cast them on genjustu, how would the battle outcome be like

Also, Kakashi who is known as "copy ninja kakashi" and also one who possesses over a thousand justu..to be honest all the justus Kakashi has use in Naruto that I've seen am not sure they are up to a 100

What of Naruto..I would have loved to see naruto use sexy justu on madara and see his reaction..lol

What of sasuke he rarely does any fire techniques lately aside from amaterus

Its like most of the characters her just neglecting their old techniques and relying on new ones

Naruto used his Sexy jutsu on Kaguya.

Sasuke used Katon at the VotE 2.

Besides apart from mei's water release and oonoki's earth release he couldn't really copy much

What's the point of Kakashi spending chakra on useless copied jutsus when he can simply use his Kamui to end the match.

Same goes for Naruto who in his arsenal has much stronger abilities that can affect the opponent instead of sexy jutsu.

and simply : Amaterasu>random fire jutsu... so what's the point of doing something useless ?

Kunai to the face jutsu
Narutos fart jutsu combine that with multi shadow clones and we have a hole in the ozone
Sakura panel time jutsu delays all plot progression and imminent danger
Rin flashback jutsu similar to the one above but can even alter reality,make a ghost allow you resist heavy gravity and waste more panel time
Flashback induce jutsu used by the yellow flash to introduce new characters(might gai) and waste more panel time

Copy jutsu by Kakashi was nerfed. Zabuza arc made it seem so cool and when he fought itachi but after that he doesn't use it much

kishi could have been a lot more creative than rasengan tbb and susanoo spam. i like imagining obito with more combos and stuff xD

using the Sharingan to copy techniques was for amateurs. Madara was already so far above virtually everybody else's lvl he never needed to even consider it an option.
