this is the first time i've posted here but i've been reading naruto since 2006. i'm pretty much aware of what's going on except for some delicate differences, especially with clans.

i guess my question is, if the senju and uchiha are direct descendants of the sage of the six paths, how does the hyuga clan factor in? wasn't it said before that the hyuga was the mother clan from which the uchiha was born after a hyuga woman mated with a demon?

or am i off-base?

no the older son of so6p neither had byakugan, nor sharingan, not even the rinnegan, but a weird eye technique that looked like the rinnegan!

as he passed on hes genes to his descendants, byakugan was created and from byakugan sharingan was born!

but the hyuga clan are quite traditional and protective of their origin therefore they still exist even though they are one of the oldest clans in naruto world!

afterall kakashi did say sharingan was derived from byakugan!

before it was shown in the manga only one person had a theory about sharingan evolving to rinnegan, and that was me! and i was right, and i have every reason to brag, in my theory byakugan evolving to sharingan was also possibility so im only completing my theory!

i just find it interesting that the info is a little bit conflicting regarding this. if the mother of all dojutsu is rinnegan, and the sharingan came from the byakugan, does that mean that the uchiha clan, bearers of the sharingan, have descended from the hyuga family tree since the byakugan is where the sharingan came from?
