Need Help!

I need help, I just want to know the exact size (i just need the width actually) for a web background. What I mean by exact is that, when you put up the picture you will not see any repeation of the picture or over/exceed the webpage's width. Thats mean, if you set the pic; center no repeat. You will only see one perfect pic in the center.

It comes up as 1280 x 574 pixels for me =]

Edit - that's for the site's main image at the top of the screen.
You might need to add an overflow-x:hidden tag so that you don't get a scrollbar along the bottom of the page - depending on your screen's resolution :x
