If you go to windows Update it should provide all necessary software.

If that doesn't work try calling the manufacturer maybe they can help guide you through it because each one
modifies the system a little different!

Out of all the places you can ask...You ask NB ._.
Why not? There is over 100K users on here, sure there is at least one person that can help him for free. Most Manufacturers try to charge you for help, if you didn't buy the warranty.

its windows 8
Might need to enable it.
Directions:
You can also enable the .NET Framework 3.5 yourself through Control Panel. In Control Panel, choose Programs and Features, choose Turn Windows features on or off, and then select the .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0 and 3.0) check box. This option requires an Internet connection. You do not need to select the child items for Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) HTTP activation unless you are a developer who requires WCF script and handler mapping functionality.

thanks a lot Jellal, unfortunetly, my Windows 8 experience is limited, but this is a good start!

However, my XP and 7 experience is there.

Keep up the good work:D
