so i recently bought a laptop with high graphics. its 1920x1280 or something like that. when i open up programs they are shown in really high quality, however when i open up google chrome & itunes they are in much lower quality.. how do i fix this?

It would be nice to have a screen shot, the name of the graphics chip (Ati/AMD or Nvidia) and the driver you are using.
If you can, please post the specifications of the laptop that you can find on the box you bought it in. Or just give the name and model number.
Specifications will usually include how much memory it has, hard drive space, the cpu, etc.
