Need help with laptop

Recived my laptop from acer repair today and they said they couldnt find any problems and they looked at it for 5 hours +.. The problem is with the display, when i click on the change user button i get lots of dots on the screen everywhere. I then got told it could be the things i plugged into the laptop (mouse, speakers & laptop cooler) i then remembered i started using my kid brothers charger wich fits perfectly and charges as well.. They are different models of the laptop but of the same brand (acer) could it be the charger?

It may be the charger yes.

Your best bet is to restore your laptop to factory and have appropriate charger/equipment.

Yes. It is your charger.. NEVER use a different charger then the one that came with your laptop ( Or buy exact the same one ofc) Even tho if it's from the same brand.. you are lucky you didn't cause a short circuit

Have you tried plugging in another monitor and clone your display to that external monitor to see if it does the same thing? Not much of help but if it does the same thing on the external monitor then your' laptops monitor is fine. If it doesn't then your laptops monitor might be degraded.
