need help with ideas

hi guys
I started too write a typical love drama but ran out of interesting ideas. Can you please help me? Anything will do.
The basic plot is like this.
A girl that grew in an orphanage after her parents left her, Rachael, joins a college that is for people that have lots of money
She joins by a scholarship straight to second year and has a mysterious secret about the truth of her parents and avoids answering any questions about them or her past
There are the three mean and popular girls, Ruth, Ruby and Esther that absolutely hate her for some reason and there is Toby the guy who is supposed to fall in love with her and his friend Alex and the college's big bully, Kyle.

The girl gets a mother, and a perfectly legit picture of the two, that makes her strongly
believe they're blood related. The girl later goes on to tell her mother "**** Daddy, he ain't shit."
Her powerful father is captured, and the girl's uncle, and mother, along with her let him get tortured.

The girl takes after her father, the end.

those are some nice ideas but her mother is supposed to be dead and she comes across her father during college

They may not be there but they are ever watching, her silent guardians. But to much dismay, her secret will soon be revealed to her, what will happen next? How will this change her views on life? Will she forsake her parents? Was Alex even in love with her in the first place or was he only interested because he knew who she truly was?" So on and so forth.

Idk i find those cliche.

Question is this like a manga thing where anything could happen?

Lost outerspace princess? Line of supernatural beings?

Wierd hairstyle and color scheme? Stand out from the normal crowd?

Or is it like a normal drama series?
