Need help with CS2

I want to use PS CS2 to make avatars and signatures. I have find some tutorials,but I can't start.!

1. I don't kno how to paste render into my blank image Oo"

Copy - Paste won't work

Try to open the render in a new worksheet or what you call it, new document, and copy it in photoshop, you cant copy something outside photoshop and paste it into you work unless its text, but no images.

Copy - Paste won't work

use the "move" tool and drag your render to your blank image

or just start your sig from your opened render?
