Need help understanding what exactly happened.

So we know Obito became the jinchuuriki of the Juubi this past chapter, which is f***in awesome if I do say so myself.. My only question is, how exactly did it happen? There are a few panels where I can't exactly tell what happened.

We see Naruto approaching the mouth the Juubi and then I don't know what happens but there is something going on with the Juubi. I looks like it's smaller or it's being sucked into Obito maybe so it escapes the seals on its tails. It grabs Minato and Sasuke and then I don't know wtf that last panel is.

Here we see Obito laying face down, as if he has been drastically weakened but Madara already knows he has failed. Obito, despite just almost being overtaken by Madara, he talks as if everything is going to plan.

Finally, we see in the last panel that Obito has become the host and his body seems different somehow. It almost seems like he's absorbing it somehow. Can somebody explain why Obito was able to become the jinchuuriki the way he did after Madara seemed confident he was soon gonna revive himself? It's as if Obito somehow took advantage of Madara taking advantage of him. Anyone got an idea what exactly Obito did here?

His stronger will? I like it, Obito is more strong-willed than Madara Which is natural since Obito seems to want this plan to happen more than him. It does look as if he absorbed by it's weird that it happened the way it did. Obito forms seals for Rinne Tensei and then proceeds to seal the Juubi in himself. Maybe it will be expanded next chapter

Shedding? It does look that way now that you mention it... Perhaps the Zetsu half is what is allowing Obito to absorb the Juubi and he's shedding to transform into something inhuman humainoid I imagine

Given the fact, Obito's head is In the JUUBI, means He and the JUUBI has merged together and obito is ''ONE'' with the juubi. I think with obito's last energy, He gave it to the Juubi (now remember, the JUUBI IS storing up energy to transform) and has become like a bijuu to the juubi :I
