Yea that's true. Thought that was obvious from when Kakashi was doing it against Obito. Doesn't matter the user Kamui takes up an ass load of chakra.

It takes a lot of chakra to switch between dimensions. You shouldn't over think these things especially since it isn't really that important and the manga is done.

nope. You understood it. Whenever Kaguya switches dimension it takes a toll on her chakra. That's why Team 7 was able to tag her in the heavy gravity dimension. Hopping dimensions and using all those OP jutsu started to wear on her.
