Need help remembering an anime :l

I have no idea what is called or what is it about, i'm just gonna try and describe it the best way I can and hopefully someone out there will know what i'm talking about. The main character is this powerful lone wolf guy who just wonders around the wasteland and doesn't remember about his past apparently, and he ends up fighting with people along the way who blame him of something (i think they blame him of destroying the world? idk), he has a white outfit with a V on his helmet, also i don't think hes not human. If anyone knows please let me know.
