Need help for naruto generations

I cant seem to get the Tilt moves down. For people that dont know what im talking about, your suppose to tilt the analog stick and press (O for playstation & i believe B for Xbox) and i have a hard time getting it down. Is there a certain way your suppose to tilt it?? lol i cant seem to make it work, i practiced it but i cant seem to get the hang of it.

you "flick" it and then press the button right after. so it goes (flick to the right and right after it goes to the center of the controller you hit o or triangle) i have xbox so i dont know what ps3 is

You tilt it at a angle and wait a few secound then press O. I mastered this title technique because it was a great move to use lol

But just title it at a angle then wait a few and then press O try it out
