Need help for my final exam! :(

So after being 5 years in the university, I reached the last stage; the final exam :|

I have to prepare a presentation about/for Gun Control and I am confused with some issues.

I mean, that's really an oversimplification of a complicated issue. The correct answer is more like Republicans want to make it easier to get access to guns, while Democrats want to restrict access. Both sides generally agree that some control is necessary, namely that felons can't buy guns and that background checks should be required. Both sides also push for responsible gun ownership

First regardless of your opinion or stance pick pro gun control. You will have a lot more evidence and it is easier over all. Just do research on shootings, and accidental gun deaths. Just make an argument based on the numbers and you will be fine

No they are socialists. BTW the 50's that the republicans claim to love so much was a period of heavy redistribution of wealth. (which they are against)

Although, to be fair, there are plenty of liberals that are pro gun and some conservatives that are pro control

I'd agree with this, republicans want to make accessing guns easier. OP, I'd suggest googling the topic and reading up on how gun control is regulated around the country and come up with your own ideas as to how much gun control should be regulated. Considering this is the topic for your final paper, I'd assume it was chosen for you considering you're seeking help on it. The key issue is establishing your own position on the topic and focusing your passion for the issue into your writing.

To be more precise, the closest affiliation to big government is Statist while the opposite of a Statist, or small government, is a Libertarian. Don't confuse Libertarians with [Liberal] Democrats either, as they are two different affiliations. Generalizing Democrats as big government and Republicans as small government would be a mistake, as many of their stances would contradict this claim.

Check the sources listed before you reference anything of course. Wikipedia is pretty heavily regulated for misinformation by professionals in the field. If something is questionable it will have subnote that say things like: "Said by whom? Or reference needed." In all honesty when you're researching books those are edited by a few professions, whereas Wikipedia is monitored by hundreds. You'll find just as many biases in a book in the library.

Wikipedia is fine if you use the sources that it used to cite in the actual article. I completed college already and used wikipedia to write an entire paper
