There is a sharp right turn coming up. I push your car into it by powersliding right, making my cars tail hit yours, and still giving me the support of a right turn

You cant complete the turn at full speed, because your in reverse, which at top speed is equal to the beggining speed of your second gear. So you have to build your speed back up again, in order to gt back to full speed )
