So tell me this since chakra is just chakra why didn't naruto use it to his advantage right there to amplify his sage mode during the entire battle ?

He could not use kurama's chakra as he does now because they opposed each other not to mention each time naruto would use the Intial BM (If you don't know that it is too bad) he being kurama would take some of naruto's chakra

Actually no Kurama reminded him that he could do it, the first place he did it was way back in Invasion of Pein Arc, Kurama stated that he wanted Naruto to use his power instead of the toads.

It was unstable because it was their first attempt which he also said they would get better over time.
