[Discussion] Near-Death Experiences.

There's been a couple of these in the past but the Base has grown so I thought it'd be good to see if newer members have had their own, whilst giving older members a chance to re-kindle lost grim meetings.

I'll kick off with some of mine...

• Got stuck on railway lines when the barriers were coming down.
• Nearly drowned and nobody else was around.
• Narrowly avoided getting run over by two cars (literally in between them when they stopped.)
• Been in a 3-car pileup on a motorway (British equivalent of a highway)
• Been in another car accident where the car skidded at 60mph, ended up in a dyke with a split petrol tank.
• Fell down the stairs.
• Birth

I almost drowned 2 times.

That's pretty much it.

I dropped my jar of Nutella, and it shattered. Almost had an anxiety attack and died.

Almost drowned. Got hit by a car but survived (obviously), and that's about it really.

This made me laugh because I used to have this bad habit of having a panic attack when falling over or getting smacked in the face by metal doors.

Lmaaaaaoo.

Almost choked to death by inhaling rather than swallowing peas, but got a broken rib when someone did the heimlich on me. Never had peas since.

Spun out on a sharp turn going 60+ mph, left the road spinning into a wooded area. Only clipped the outer edge of my bumper on a tree.

Choked on a circular piece of chocolate. I couldn't breath, but I hung in there.

- Almost fell off a split bolder (on a mountain) that was 3-4 stories off the ground
- Was about to get hit by a van when I was little

Well my heart actually stopped as a baby. Not sure if that counts as near death or actually died lol.

I was 2 months premature which has a 30% or so survival rate

As a kid I was riding down a hill on a bike, the brakes suddenly broke and I was seconds away from crashing into a truck that had turned the corner, I managed to jumped off on time

Car nearly fillped over when my family was on a major road. Car got its door smashed in on the left side when I was with my mom (we and the car spun around like crazy xD). Oh, and nearly fell of an escalator.

I went to a show somewhere when I was little and I got the chance to have a six foot python around me. We've been besties ever since.

And I've fed dead mice to smaller snakes too, yep, me and snakes are good.

Apart from rattlesnakes, they can royally piss off with their weird rattling tails.

Hehe, this happened when I was in my home country(Bangladesh) where there was a lake in our back garden. I was 4 I believe.

1). This goes back in 2006, in a holiday at Malaysia. I 9 back then. I was walking between deep pools, and I was *this close* to slip and get drowned. No one was even there at the area I was walking at.

2). I was riding on my bicycle on the road, and a car was just meter away was going to crash right through me. There may be a probability I would have survived that, but it was unlikely.

That's about it.
