NB Snow: Can I turn it off?

Seriously, unless my mouse is perfectly centered, it keeps causing the y axis scroll bar to flicker in and out and is growing quite annoying.

I beg of you, powers that be, pleast invest in the option to turn it off!

I propose a public usergroup to be created that turns off the snow(dont know if this is possible) there was a similar problem when we had those falling hearts for valentines.

Just go into your browser's preferences and disable javascript. Viola. No more snow.

No. Just javascript. There's no java on this site. You wouldn't miss anything. Maybe the private meassages flashing at you, but who cares...

not sure if that was a joke, but JavaScript is essential on almost every webpage. Not even our spoilers would open without it.

Not really I hate it, it is fun to play with it. It moves as your coursor moves, when you cursour is stopped, it will fall very slowly and if you moves your cursor very much, it will fall violently. Play with it for some time,
