Hey there. I've read a recent post from one of the admins. It was about the roleplay here. And I just wanted to comment on everything over all.
I get how to do it. I understand how to RP here and everything, I RP (I'm going to get thought of poorly for admitting this) over facebook with many, many other people. See, I canon Itachi (my favorite character) and have been told I do a really great job. I am literate, and I have not lost a battle there. I also have a OC which I created who wields Radioactive Release, and Poison Release. But RPing here is just.... I don't feel, how do I say this.... I don't feel like it's my cup of tea.
I'm not bashing the RP that goes on here. I took a read at a lot of posts, and it's really easy! I just don't know if I can sit here and take it is what I mean. Because where I do my stuff, you make a bio, RP based off of T-1 rules, and be descriptive about everything. Which is the same thing as here! It really is! But I read till the coding thing for making a bio. The coding made me dread, I wish I could just make a bio, and get to work. But I would have to have a certain number of posts.
See I love NB, but I don't love it enough to actually take the time to make 20,000 posts in order to unlock a second Kekkei Genkei for an OC or canon (like I have on my RP place). So I understand how to do everything, I just don't want to take the time to rank up a billion posts to make my character stronger. Trust me, if I was willing to make a bout a million posts to max out my character, I would. However I don't feel like doing it, because it limits me from my full potential as a roleplayer. Roleplaying for me is a hobby. It is something I've grown to get very good at, and love. It helps me cope with my addiction to write. I love to write books and stories, however I have nobody to share them with. RP helps me release my inner writer in me and share my stories and RP's with everybody.
Point is, I want to give this place a shot... But the amount of posts you need in order to have a strong character is something that is preventing me from getting started. I want to just pick right up and show people my skill as a roleplayer, but that is against the rules. Anyway I think I'm just venting to get a response from the people who are really amazing at RP here. I know I'm not THE BEST... But I would like to get a chance to show everybody my skill. But that whole ranking system is what I grieve. I don't feel like getting a billion posts to FINALLY show you all my skill. That is too time taking.
