Nb needs change

This forum is popular. If something gets popular then you can be sure there will always be idiots or fanboys that are trying to be cool or funny and troll people on the internet.

People wont change, they wont even read what you wrote so dont even try... its just waste of time.

The best thing you can do is do nothing. Just dont reply to stupid threads that make no sense.

I think the Moderators need to step in more and hand out more infractions when they see people acting stupid. In all honesty people are giving this forum a bad name. I mean I got an infraction for saying Nice sig to someone but people can flame and talk junk and not be told anything....

Definately a lack of moderators but i understand they have other issues to attend to. I just think people should be FORCED to provide links as textual / visual proof of the junk they are talking.

I can name about 15 threads off the top of my head where some guy has imagined a completely different story over what actually happened. Hyping something to be entirely different from what it ACTUALLY is.

Maybe if they selected a few regulars on the base to take care of threads that are provoking fights, instead of debates.

I still feel my idea on forcing links/ proof would be a good solution.

While there are quite a few "dumb" threads, most of them aren't hurting anybody, and in the sense of moderation, there's no reason to do anything to them. On a forum as large as this one, where it's main discussion point is an anime/manga that's fanbase is mostly 15 and under, you're going to have those type of threads.

One issue here is most of the people on this forum who are "intelligent" when it comes to Naruto are complete dicks to people who make threads like that. While yes, there are some that are just troll threads, a good majority are just people who don't know/understand what they're talking about. If people here would help educate them without throwing every personal insult in the book at them, the forum would get better.

But that's not going to happen.

I guess you're right too. Ive caught myself being mean like i said earlier and im not usually like that. The ignorance of nb brings it out of us all i suppose.

Theres numerous plans I WOULD USE to keep things in better order but i guess i just have to accept the things i cant change.

If a forum is going to be strict, it has to be that way from the get-go. It can't just change several years in, and if they tried, it'd fail and they'd give up, or they'd keep trying and the forum would die.

On the threads that aren't just trolling people try and help educate them. Use that plan to help "fix" the forum. But moderating the forum and just locking the threads like that or whatever the case may be isn't going to fix it.

I've 'tasted' that on myself... Fanboysm and all those stuff. Try having as a fav. char. a character that is hated, and see then how it is, lol.
