NB Kenjutsu with Izuna Uchiha

Now, first of all, did you receive any Kenjutsu training prior to this one?

No no, I just wanted to know if you had received basic training.

Let us begin, draw your sword out and come at me. We'll start with a little warm up.

 

[Bhil]

Alright.

*I take out my sword from the sheath, I crouch taking a stance and I rush at you, I bring my sword back and quickly jump and do a diagonal slash across your face.I then stab you with my sword right at where your kidney would be located at.*

I'm not the best Kenjutsu user. But I look to improve.

Alright.

*I take out my sword from the sheath, I crouch taking a stance and I rush at you, I bring my sword back and quickly jump and do a diagonal slash across your face.I then stab you with my sword right at where your kidney would be located at.*

I'm not the best Kenjutsu user. But I look to improve.

* I lean backward while striking your sword with my own, deviating it to my right and making you spin in mid air. Since you're now sideways and still rotation (if you decide to hold to your sword, this is innevitable) you can't help but fall to the ground as you tried to land and continue with your combo. I then point my sword at you before you could even get up*

I would never recommend leaving the ground if you can avoid it. However, since you'll be fighting with Ninjutsu most of the times, there are way to move while in mid-air. Nonetheless, in this training and with me, we'll try to avoid those as much as possible.

Let us start with the basic Kenjutsu shall we ^__^

Go over then and I'll throw some kunais and shuriken at you, then deviate them away from you.

*put my hand to my kunai holdsters*

*As your shuriken and kunai come close to me, I manoeuvre my sword so the kunai and shuriken hit the blade of my sword causing them to deflect off.*

*I notice how each of those kunais and shuriken were deviated near your face*

It's very easy, just try and hit those kunais and shurikens as if they were your enemy. Slash them away, so they'll either be cut in two, sending both pieces flying, or they be deviated away.

Try again.

*I throw a barage of 40 kunais and shurikens at every part of your body*

*As you throw your set of Kunai and shuriken, I slash at some, making 5 getting deviated away, then I slash diagonally which causes some kunai and shuriken to be cut in half and they all fall to the ground.Finally with few kunai and shuriken left, I first slash diagonally, then horizontally and then vertically which gets all the kunai and shuriken. They fall to the ground cut in third's.*

Now let's move on with some more basic techniques.

*I make 1 handseal and summon 100 wooden dummies with red dots on their chest*

I want you to perform a simple routine on each of those. You first start by stabbing the dummy while aiming at one of the red dot (which represents a vital organ) and after that I want you to follow it up immediately by infusing a great deal of chakra in both your hands and arms to perform a powerful downward slash (be it diagonally or simply downward).

Do 20 of those dummies then I'll check your precision.

*I quickly rush at one dummy, as I come close to the dummy, I stab at where a lung would be located at, I then infuse chakra to both my hands and do a powerful downward slash.When I finish him off, I run up to another dummy, when I am close enough,I stab the red dot center and then quickly do a diagonal slash.*

Description: A simple Kenjutsu technique where the user aim at a specific vital organ on his opponent’s body and then stab it with chirurgical precision.

*I create a shadow clone and make him draw out his sword*

This shadow clone will now attack you. You do not know if he'll stab or slash you and from which angle it'll come, however you need to be ready to counter his attack by slashing/slapping his sword with your own, with the intend to disarm him so put all your strenght in it. The shear impart will repel his sword and give you an oppening. Then, punch him in the guts and before he could even disappear in a smoke cloud, slash at his neck while he's bent over from the punch.

*my clone then rush at you, and tries to slash from left to right at you*

*As I see your clone rushing towards me, I tighten my grip on my sword,since I obviously don't know where he will attack from but I perpear myself for anything.As he comes close to me he starts off by trying to perform slashes from left to right. As he slashes at me, I quickly parry by hitting his sword vertically at the mid-point of the clone's blade. This surprises your clone, since he did not expect a parry and it leaves him wide open so I punch him right into his gut. This in turn makes him bend over (and should have made him disappear) and I slash at his neck while he is bent over which kills him*

(Kenjutsu : San wishe) – Sword Arts : Three Wishes

Description: This is a three moves combination in which the user will start by blocking an incoming sword strike by giving a powerful slash on his opponent’s blade, making him lose his balance if he manage to hold on to his blade. Then, he will give a powerful punch in the guts of his opponent, making him bend in two from the pain. Finally, without losing a second, he will slash his sword downward while aiming at his enemy’s neck as he’s still bent from the punch.

Now the next Kenjutsu I will teach you is tricky, you must know that it cannot be used against any opponent, or more precicely, against any kind of sword.

I first want you to take your sword in your dominant hand and your sheath in the other. Then when my next clone comes at you and try to stab you, you quickly manoeuver your sheath to trap your opponent's sword in it ( I think it's easy to visualize how, but if you need further explanation, just ask).

Now the tricky part is, if your opponent's sword ain't a katana (or the same type of sword you're wielding), the sheath won't fit for his sword and you'll just end up injuring yourself in the process. Remember that at all time.

*Create a clone that take out his sword and rush at you*

*I took out my sword and hold in my right hand and sheath in my left hand,as your clone rushes me and comes close to me to stab me, I side step, holding out my sheath in the way, so that his sword goes into my sheath as I swing down cutting his hands off.

(Kenjutsu : Ken no sandatsu) – Sword Arts : Sword Usurpation

Description: While holding his sheath in one hand, and his sword in the other, the user will attack his opponent. Then, when the opportunity presents itself, the user will use his sheath to trap his opponent’s sword in it. This opening can be used to either cut his opponent’s hands which are now in very close range, or engage a frontal attack, aiming at his enemy’s vitals.

The next technique is nothing but a formality so I will only explain it to you.

In the same way you just did, you will keep you sheath in your free hand and use it to block common attack. It's nothing more then seeing when he's going to attack and reacting accordingly.

The next move is one of my favorite, if not my favorite.

You have to be very patient and have faith in your skills and sword. As your enemy draws ever closer, you will put your hand on the hilt of your sword while crouching a little, infusing chakra in your leg to be ready to move at great speed and give yourself a good boost. Then, when your enemy is in range (up until the point where you boost in speed would start to slow down), you unsheathe your sword in a swift motion while leaping toward him at blazing speed. By unsheathing your sword at that moment, you should be slashing your opponent as you move forward.

When the move is done, you should be standing 10-20 feet from your opponent and sheath back your sword. The moment you do, your enemy will fall to the ground, injured.

*As your clone comes at me with the intent to kill, I as a master swordsman, prepare my mind and my body for the motion he will make on me. As my opponent comes closer to me, I keep faith into my sword and my skills, I close my eyes taking a deep breath, and I put my hand onto the hilt of my sword, while crouching a tiny bit. While my eyes are closed I infuse my chakra into my leg and I ready myself to move at a great speed towards my enemy. As my opponent hits mid range, I quickly run while pumping chakra into my legs giving me a great advantage in speed. When I get close to him, I start to slow down and I unsheathe my sword in a swift motion while leaping towards him at amazing speed, at that current moment, I slash at him as I moved forward. When I open my eyes, I see myself 14 feet away from the falling dead body of my opponent. As he falls, I have sheathed my sword with the his blood on my blade.

How was that? Hope I didn't do anything wrong. ^^

(Kenjutsu : Hanauta Sanchō: Yahazu Giri) – Sword Arts : Three-Verse Humming: Arrow-Notch Strike

Description: As the enemy draws closer to him, the user will put one hand on the hilt of his sword while crouching slightly. Then, at the last possible moment, he will burst in speed toward his opponent while unsheathing his sword, slashing his him through the chest in a very swift and precise motion. As the opponent realizes what just happened, the user should now be standing 10 feet behind him as he sheaths back his sword.
-Can only be used 3 times per match

To perform the next Kenjutsu, you will need to forget everything you know about compassion and release the cruelty in you. It is a very violent technique.

While clashing sword with your opponent, you will cease the right opportunity to grab his wrist as he's trying to attack you, and deviate the attack. Then, before he could even react with his other hand, you will stab your sword straight into his foot (the one closest to you). He will then be in tremendous pain, giving you yet another opportunity to attack. This time you will follow it up by giving a powerful kick into your opponent's knee cap, breaking his leg and causing it to bend inward.

If your opponent's in any shape to fight after that, he'll be an easy prey.

This time, I'll be the one attacking you. Don't worry about me, I will simply turn to water each time you're about to attack, avoiding the damage.
