NB History Archive?

I know that this might give more on the mods to do however I thought it would be neat. Like from the start till now. ranges from RP to what had happened server crashes(if any), downtime of the forum due to unexpected maintanence, you know how people pulled their hair out because they couldn't get on NB. something in chronological order that shows what NB was back in the day till now. Ofcourse this would have to be a closed thread and only 1 specific mod would be able to edit. I know it would be a lot of work but once all done, periodically when some significant things happen you could just update, and we can keep track of everything.

I only say this as older members leave and they leave completly, they take the information with them what not have it here something to read like a NB FF. As it's really a RL FF about a forum that made tens of thousands to ge together and have fun.

p.s. go this idea from a thread a few years ago about nb rp history and going through all the spams and what not didn't get through all of them. Would just be nice to read start to finish if there was an archive someone was keeping.


I don't know. It's a lot of work, I'd do it but i just this year ~_~ so i don't know squat.

You're thinking something along the lines of the timeline setup on Facebook?

First of all, it would take a lot of work - like you said.

Second, and perhaps most importantly, it really depends on how deep you want to go in the "history."
There's a lot of infamous events that have happened here (too many to name really), events that should remain forgotten as they could easily end in flame/spam wars. So if you want some sort of a sum up of every good and bad things that has happened, then it's probably not a good idea.
If you just want a sum up on general history such as the different versions of NB, when NB hit the 10 000, 30 000, 50 000 (and so on) members mark, then I agree.

We should have this, have an history archive that tell the story of legendary members and legendary rpers and even great fights throughout the rp, the sites highs and lows, you only get a place in history if you become a signifigant person that did something in and for nb.
I love this idea and Versuvio who is checking this thread, i hope he agrees, though it is work it is more then worth it, people who are new can get inspiration from it and they won´t be ignorant of how good this site is!
It is work but no one is asking for it to be implemented in a day, take your time, hours, days, weeks, months, it will be worth it in the end, lately alot of suggestions get declined cuz apparently they´re too much work for the mods but this you can´t decline, it must happen!!!:T_T:
