I think we should make some sort of NB history archive section. Where people can post their past experiences in the site and also big events. It will be a kind or archive a record of what went on in NB. So people can look back and remember the good and the bad times they had in NB.
I did a little history of NB according to me. Its kinda long its spans from the old forum to now, 3 years of history. I know my join in date says 2009 but I actually joined in march 2008. I think ist because I had my account deleted but it wasnt really.

F***. I had to write this again because my stupid computer. Anyways I’ve been inspired my the recent fillers to give my account of NB history and also as a memoir to my old friends on the site who are gone. Here NB according to Sage106.

I know it says Mar 2009 but I actually joined in 2008 right before we changed forums. I think its because I had Versuvio delete my account but somehow it still here
but all my posts were gone. Most of you probably wont believe but thats the way it is
The Old Forum
What I remember about it, orange and 400. I was one of those who people who didnt post at all. But Yondaime inspired
me to, he always had great posts about naruto. I became one of his students but we werent that close cuz i never really posted much and also because of the day NB CHANGED ! A few things about the old forum, it took 400 posts to be kage and somehow I never became one. And there was like 4 or 5 mods and admin

. There was another one I think but I dont remember him/ her. And on a sidenote, everyone thought Zonder was a girl because he had a girl pic as avatar. I gotta talk about the anbu black ops, I think they wer formed before the forum change or after it, not sure so Ill talk about the forum change first.
The Day NB Changed Forever
It was a firday, im sure of it , some time between 5-8 pm eastern time. Logged in into NB as usual the site was down for about an hour or so. Came back NOTHING ! No post , no threads noone. I think I had to recreate my account. My login worked in the main site but you also had to login in the forum.
Freak Out Session
I freaked out like crazy, cuz noone was posting for the first few minutes. So I started making some thread and posts. Yes I was the first to post in the new forum but Versuvio to it . 10 or 20 minutes later Versuvio makes an annoucement thread explaining the forum change. Then people slowly back. Thinking about it now, that was a huge gamble by Versuvio. NB wasnt as popular as it is now and he risked loosing most of the users. Lucky for us his gamble paid off.
I gotta admit , me and some of the old users were little disappointed by the change. First the old forum layout looked cooler
and secondly all of our post were gone.
Race to 400
People came back and the race to kage began again.I think Maadara or Tobi! won that race, a spamarathon.I had to log out and the next day almost eveyone had like 400 + posts. Some of the old guys were ticked off because all their posts were gone and left for good. Yondaime was one of them. As I mentioned before he was one the coolest guys in NB and he had great posts about naruto, pitty.
Anyways new people eventually joined and the site got bigger.
Anbu Black Ops
The anbu black ops was the group to be in. I didnt join because I wasnt much of RP
guy. Anyways there was a huge internal fight between the black ops, power struggle. It was basically insulsts back and forth. I mean the stuff they posted you get a permanent ban these days. It was funny from an outsider point of view, and that would be me, I kinda enjoyed it.
Maadara and Shodaime
There was also a huge beef between maadara and shodaime.They were the first senseis of the site. I think it started with the black ops thing. Maadara kinda won because he had more followers and shodaime logged in less. Another pity because Shodaime was one of my friends.
TOBI!
In the meantime TOBI!
was doing his thing, spamming. She made the forum fun. Funny thing I used think she was a guy and we talked a lot. Anyways Ill talk about squtala a bit later on but first I have to talk about the MOD attack and more importantly the BIBI invasion.
MOD Attack
With more members it was inevitable we got more mods. Looking back I geuss it was both and good and bad in someways. Bad in that more rules and less spam and some ways less fun and good because it brought structure to NB and the Rp section and that in some ways made a little bit more fun. The mods were first then the rules came a little later on. We had rules in the old days but they weren't written down and they were a bit relaxed.
BIBI and SweetSasuke
I hated sweetsasuke and I kinda had to hate BIBI because of my loyalty to TOBI!. For the new guys these two were mods and I think they had a huge impact on NB. Firstly Bibi created this following called Bibi's slaves and she had the big boys
; basicallly all the senseis and the powerful role players. She gotten into a beef with TOBI! with lead to the formation squatala.
Her bigggest legacy along with sweetsasuke is that she made the rules for the RPG section. Maadara also helped. Personally I was against it
, i thought it was more fun to have no set of rules and everyone doing what they liked. I didnt like you had to get your Bio and justus approved. In talking about this I have to talk about squatala too.
Squatala
Squatala was a group formed by TOBI! against the mods specifically Bibi and Sweetsasuke. Neutrinoii was second in command and I guess I was third, because were the only 3 people apart from narutogoku who joined teh group and actively participarted. We kinda were joking around a bit but we legitamely had a beef with the 2 aforementioned mods. I personally had nothing against Bibi but didnt like sweetsasuke.
One of our
complaints was the rules in the rpg. And that Bibi got Maadara, Hellbadass who were there friends in the forum to help make the rules. But then again they did have the most posts so i suppose it kinda made sense. But I wasnt much of spammer most of my posts were in the naruto manga and shipuuden section, and there's were mostly role play and the game section and werent about naruto. Anyways looking back I wasnt much of role player and maybe I didnt have a right to whine. But I kinda liked the free for all system with no rules were had before.
Anyways squatala was a bit childish we made some anti Bibi threads here and there. Tobi , neutrinoii, narutogoku and I got banned from time to time for breaking the rules. But It was fun fighting the mods.
Maadara Tavern
Bibi and her slaves tookover the role player section. This was the biggest thread ever , so big they had to create a new one. It was rpg where you were in bar called Maadara's Tavern. Thats where Bibi and slaves usually hanged. Master Tobi! was brave enough to show once in a while.
As for I rarely was there. I wasnt really welcomed there. So i n time I quit role playing altogether, it was dominated by pro Bibi people, and we werent friends. But I had squatala and went back to my post in naruto manga and anime section.
Kage Sytem and the '13 squads or something like that'
For a long time, someone once every 4 months suggested there should be a kage system. This time whenever that was it was me. I started a post a thread about it and sent everyone, well not everyone but the ones online a link to the thread. And neutrinoii helped. There was a huge response about it and for once it looked like it was catching steam. Messaged the mods too and they approved. However sweet sasuke the mod incharge of .....
made Maadara incharge of all it. That made me and neutrinoomad a little bit because we did the work of getting people talking about it
and to make it worse Maadara totally ignored us when we talked to him about our ideas.
Anyways like the other times attempted, the idea died off, as expected. I believe the kage system was created way later on.
Anyways I moved on to my next project. Ohh I forgot to mention the reason I started the whole kage thing was because I wanted to quit NB
and I wanted to leave some sort of legacy.

It was a success at first but then It died off just like the black ops.
Purgatory
There was a period in which TOBI! was gone and me and neutrinoII picked up the slack for squatala. Narutogoku also made a huge contribution in our war against Bibi.
Following that period, I logged in less and less.
TOBI! came back and so did shodaime for a bit.
BIBI downfall
She quit or was fired from being mod. I dunno as I said before I logged in less and less. This was surprise because she was really popular and It was a huge victory for squatala.
Squatala vs Bibi
As you know there's a fan story section. There used to to be this one guy, cant remember his name. He used to come up with the funniest stories they were centred around the war between Bibi vs Squatala. They were immensly funny I encourage everyone to look them up.

In between all that, Versuvio had added more great stuff to site. New people came in and old ones left. NeutrinoII left and squatala kinda died. I asked for my account to be deleted, which it was. A few months later though tried logging in and surprisingly it worked. But all my posts were gone. I was a noob again. Noone really know except for TOBI! who was in the site was every full moon.

It was then I found TOBI! was a girl. In all our times in squatala I always thought she was guy.
Last year
While im almost done. In the past year or so I havent been on much. Just once in a while to comment about the manga.
My legacy
Well I never came close to 10,000 posts, I think I had 4000 posts. I' d say my legacy though not much is I was the first to post in the new forum and one of the few from the old one. And also I used to start great naruto discussion back in the day.

3 years may not be a lot, but NB has changed a lot since I first joined in 2008. There has a whole lot of new folks I never met. I wish them and the site goodluck. I probably be posting once every 5 months. NB is a great site, thxs Versuvio for the memories and this is my account of NB.
