If you're not a wannabe troll, don't feel associated with the 2012 gen. It's just that, in general, most 2012 members don't give serious answers on debates and tend to crack a mediocre troll.

In general, everyone here is being illogical.

In a war zone, you can't choose to ignore the person attacking you with the click of a button. If someone disagrees with your view, then so be it. If someone flames you for your view, you're either being too radical in your thinking or you can choose to report them, if they persist, then they'll justly get banned.

All of this talk of NB generations is another stupid thing to witness. People can't be generalized by any category, it almost never works. I'm a 2012 member and i don't consider myself to be a troll, yet i see other 2010 members who can't help but do so.

Though in general i agree, the past generations of NB were better when it came to debating and being logical. Notice how this thread is a product of the 2012 Gen.

Let's not throw blame. :| They aren't the cause of this. It's mostly just people whom have no lives that are the cause of all of our pain. Although, I do agree with some of your points. In the end, I only ask people to stop generalizing 2012 members. :|

You just joined in December, so your view on things is understandable.. You should've been here in October and November... lots of trolls at that time, most of them are banned luckily.

Not much we can do about the hate/flaming/trolling as we can't really change what they think.

The solution? Ignore it!

There's a number of threads on the base that are just flame wars or troll threads but there are some decent debates out there where the arguments are constructive and there's nothing offensive on them

It's all about doing a detailed search and locating the gems...

There will always be trolls and people with extreme point of views on the internet. Sadly it's something you need to take into account, even on a forum like this. It's not really much of a discussion since it's normal, especially with a community so big as ours.
