Muki Tensei. It's a fantastic technique from the way it was executed and described. I just want to know if anyone else thinks it's possible that the rocks receded because they felt the threat from Amaterasu's heat.

I see no other way that Amaterasu would have forced the cave, or at least the stalactites back to it's original shape. If so that may be a potential weakness; techniques that are self preservating. The inorganics is given life by Kabuto's very own words. It's not impossible that the inorganic can now feel threatened.

What say you?

Before answering let's all remember a couple of chapters back what Kabuto said when he told the Uchiha brothers that he had the locational advantage.

"Nature is on my side!"

His own words. Very much relevant now more than ever. This is what he's talking about and it implies some level of independence if not sentience. Backing off from heat or something threatening to one's existence, if or when possible, is a natural thing for anything possessed of any measure of life.

Nature is on his side of course.. He is in Sage mode and used his tech to control moment of inanimate thing: Rocks. That must be the reason he choose to hide in The Cave..

good thread man...
what do you mean by "naruto is on my side" ?
xd lol
Of course having Naruto on one's side is a huge advantage.

Yes he chose his location very well. Open ground wouldn't be too good for quick omni-directional attacks.
