Bingo! You fell into Jiraiya's trap. Steve was the decoy and what happens when a clone is killed, the knowledge it aquired goes straight to the original. This is what Jiraiya wanted all along. Without being able to see you due to the bridge he had only one way of finding out where you were and that was through steve. Good old steve. But with your attack, the internal damage is enough to cause him to poof away in a puff of smoke leaving Jiraiya to fight this one alone.
But now he knew where you were. The two shuriken he sent behind steve come flying through the smoke at point blank range hitting you both in the chest through jiriaya's chakra control. You would of hit steve with your hand for that shockwave so it was pretty close anyway. But even at that range these two were distraction shots, as the other two fire shuriken shoot at you hitting you both in the back from behind at the same time. Perfect use of the levitation technique. But Jiraiya doens't stop there.
The bridge rubble is still falling around you, he performs one more handseal adding fire chakra to the shuriken as they hit expanding setting you both of fire with A rank flames aswell as the shuriken spinning slicing through you with that heat.

As all 4 shoot out after you they all shoot around you first creating like a square formation and Jiraiya multiplies them sending them all forwards towards you, 1000 flaming shuriken from all directions.

As Natsu releases his giant blast of flames to destroy all the shuriken, Jiraiya sprints forwards towards the both of you, as he's 2m away he performs one handseal turning the ground under both of you to mud pushing you towards him though. Jiraiya release his charka through his feet so he can run on his own mud. This mud throws you both off balace, it pulls your legs towards Jiraiya causing you both to fall backwards.
With the mud forming, it throws you off balance as Jiraiya hits Kaname in his right knee with a low kick breaking his leg as the bottom half of his leg is trapped in the mud. Jiraiya does this with his right foot. While he does this he punches the off balance Natsu in the face hitting him over as he's distracted into the flow of mud dragging him away from Jiraiya.
When jiraiya kicked Kaname's leg and punched Natsu at the same time, he uses the leg to push himself up and over kaname. Landing ontop of the mud doing a spinning side kick to Kaname's back who also gets carried away in the mud. The mud drags you both down into the river raining down on you like a heady waterfall.

Jiraiya watches as the lightning is released allowing the two ninja to stand on his mud. So through the use of lightning they can counter my earth style, not bad. Lets see how well they do from blind attacks. Jiraiya with an additional handseal causes bullets of mud to shoot up from his mud river hitting both Kaname and Natsu in the back which they don't see coming. These mud shots come from the mud that Jiraiya had already made making it easy and fast to manipulate.
The mudshots hit as Natsu propels forwards, hitting him in the back as he goes to kick Jiraiya while keeping Kaname distracted too so he can't warn Natsu. So before natsu can complete his kick, causing him to arch his back. (in anime fashion) As he's hit in the back Jiraiya thrusts his hand forwards with a rasengan, hitting Natsu in the stomac sending Natsu flying back into Kaname causing them to roll along in the mud.

It just relied on the ninja's ability to mold chakra. The ninja concentrates a contained, fast, rotating sphere of chakra in the palm of their hand, which can create a destructive impact.

As it's about to hit Jiraiya's right arm, with his left hand he does a palm thrust you your leg pushing around to your left, turning your side to face him as the rasegan smashes into Natsu's side.

When hitting something in this mode, the user will release the lightning through the object shocking it with a bolt of lightning and cause numbing/partial paralysis to living objects. Not only this, but the heat built up from the electircal current will burn the target too. And example of how this would work would be, when you go to punch an opponent, if they put their hand up to block it, you would hit their hand, shocking their hand dealing lightning damage, numb their hand from the shock for 1 turn and burn the targets hand.

Jiraiya hits Natsu head on with his rasengan right in the side, doing more damage than he wanted too. He wasn't here trying to hurt them, just to stop them and go finish the mission he'd been planning to all along. As Jiraiya is about to relax his guard a bit Natsu starts to get up.
You've got heart kid, not many could get up after being hit with my rasengan like that!
As he says this Natsu's entire body errupts in lightning and flames shocking and burning the ground all around him showing his true power. Jiraiya jumps back 5m as you do this to create some distance from you while he plans his next move.
I guess i underestimated you, you're not done yet...
As Jiraiya is speaking he sees you breathe in a large amount. An attack? So far this kid has only used fire and lightning. If it's lightning my fire and earth would be no use, if it's fire, would it be strong enough... or could it be both...!!!
While thinking to himself, Natsu releases the giant blast of fire and lightning forwards towards Jiraiya. He covers his face making an X shape with his arms looking like he can't escape when in reality, he controls the bridge below him to open up causing him to fall down into the water. Neither of you would see this due to the size of the blast itself and the sound of him landing on the water would be masked by the lightning in your own jutsu.
It looks like i might need a bit of help with this one.... guess it's time to bring in the boss...
Natsu's blast finishes as rubble falls down and there smoke and dust start to clear. You can see that there is no sign of Jiraiya. Was there really nothing left of him. In a giant puff of smoke appearing infront of you, is the toad boss, Gamabunta who leaps back with Jiraiya on his head. He stands with his hand on his sword ready to leap at any time.
Huh? Rain village? Jiraiya boy, why did you come back here?
The Akatsuki, i'm pretty sure there leader is here, but i ran into a little problem... i was attacked by these two but i'm pretty sure they aren't from here either..
Hmmm... fine... lets get this over and done with...
Gamabunta stands ready with Jiraiya on his head braced ready for what every you throw at them. Things were about to get serious.

Description:
Gamabunta, literally meaning "Toad Boss", is the boss of the toads of mount Myobokuzan. An enormous summon (about 100 meters high), he carries a large Tanto (simple, square katana) on his back that he wields with great proficiency. He is very found of his smoking pipe and tends to be somewhat harsher than most toads, specially when he's summoned to "troublesome" situations. His sons are Gamakichi and Gamatatsu. Besides his enormous size and his immense strength and proficiency with a tanto, he is also a master of Water release, capable of using water techniques up to S-Rank. His large size and strength renders him immune to all B-Rank and below ninjutsu. A trait he shares with most Toads is the ability to use Oil Techniques, like spitting large amounts of flammable oil to combo with his summoners techniques.

With Natsu getting more worked up Kaname began thinking what he could do in this situation, the Toad boss was going to be a problem but not only would the boss prove to be a pain but so would Jiraiya. He first had to start by taking care of the toad, immediately Kaname begins gathering his Meiton chakra into his right hand surrounding it in Dark chakra, forming a small orb, he immediately thrusts it out infront of him releasing the chakra in the ord unleashing several ghastly shaped figures launch out of the orb surround and attack the toad. Meanwhile Natsu had been gathering his Katon chakra into his mouth and released out a powerful fireball that raged on towards the toad, it then suddenly bursted into a maelstrom of fire which engulfed the toad and Jiraiya while also having taking the hit from Kaname's move.

Gamabunta breathes in using one of the techniques we most remember him for in his fight against the one tailed beast, the great water bullet. He opens his mouth spewing out a giant blast of water of S rank in strength which is as big as Gamabunta himself overpowering both fire jutsu as the last of the water drops on the two of you.
As the blast of water is shot forwards Jiraiya shoots out his hair behind it in two A rank solid snakes that shoot forwards behind the water smashing into the both of you in the chest. The water would have put out Natsu's fire and lightning and it would of also distacted the both of you. With that it would also of made the mud under you loose causing that to pull your legs away from under you also.

Gamabunta watches as you control the lightning to destroy his water. From what Jiraiya had said he was expecting fire atleast but this was good enough for what he had planned. Being a toad and all he was very proficient in oil style technques and takes this chance to catch you both off guard. He slams his foot on the ground causing a giant gyser of oil to shoot up from under both of you. It would be large enough to cover a large summon. It shoots up without warning as you're doing your lightning jutsu. The sparks from the lightning ignite the oil as it shoots up in a giant pillar of fire. (If you like LOTR imagine when the green light shoots up in return of the king from minas morgal).
Thinking as one, in unison Jiraya uses this opportunity to trap you. Clapping his hands together as Gamabunta stomps his foot down, Jiraiya causes a large array of spikes to shoot up all around the two of you shooting up together in a cone shape from every direction around the two of you. The oil shoots up to long range and all around you are giant A rank earth spikes. The spark from your lightning ignites the oil burning you both in a molten hot gyser of flaming oil as the spikes shoot up from all around you impaling you giving you no where to run. If not for the lightning from your jutsu, the fire from Natsu's armour would do this.
