Hey Guys, just a little thought of mine but, since we know Natsu is END and a Demon and Gray a Devil Slayer, it almost looks to me like there will be a final battle between them.

Can Gray really stand up against END?

It is true his ice devil slayer attack could freeze him and boom he is done for. Kinda like amaterasu is in the narutoverse. It will probably get nerfed tho or matey will get a fire as hot as amaterasu.

you noticed gray doesnt slam his fist on his hand for ice magic no more (That was ice molding magic)
What gray does now is simply generate it not to mention his ice is effective (super effective) against demons.. or rather demons are weak against his type of ice..

I think they are going to fight, yes, since Gray swore to destroy END and Natsu just happens to be him, so eventually Zeref will make him turn into him... but I don't think that will be the final fight anyway...

END thing looks like to me that in the end natsu,acno,zeref will going to have three on three battle where natsu will be overpowering both by unlocking END POWERS and will go insane and will start attacking his own guild comrades, where everyone will realise that he is the END and gray will sacrifice himself and will save natsu from the END power which will make natsu come to his senses and will give him nakama powerup of gray's life which will help him to defeat the other two

Imo gray will be large factor in he fight but it won't be a 1 on 1. If we look at erza and bisca vs ajeel; erza wasn't able to take him out by herself, and end should be quite a bit above ajeel, and I doubt gray is that much above erza, therefore gray should have help. End is a big thing, gray taking him out seems like something Natsu should do, but end is natsu, thus we turn to the other mc which is Lucy. Lucy will probably have just an important part in it as gray, and probably even the rest of the guild will take part.
