News Summary:

So, The NATO decided on Friday to form a spearhead force to meet Global Threats, some specified as Russia's interference in Ukraine and the ISIS Terrorist group in Syria and Iraq. The force of ground troops which would be several thousand soldiers backed by air, sea and special forces ae being prepared to meet any type of threat to the West or the Globe. NATO Chief, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, said in the NATO summit in Newport, Wales:

"And it sends a clear message to any potential aggressor: Should you even think of attacking one ally, you will be facing the whole alliance." - Anders Fogh Rasmussen, NATO Summit, Newport, Wales

Along with this, U.S. President Obama, invited the International Community to act on the threat that ISIS in posting, insisting that they must degrade and ultimately destroy ISIS.

Ok, my full honest opinion. NATO needed to do something right now. It was quite for long enough, and if it had continued playing the dumb person, it would have been worse. Ukraine and Russia matter is the same, matter as, I had seen this I want it matter in the sand box in the playground. The ISIS matter is deeper but America is overestimating them more then they should. Yes they are trained and smart but the differences in power are intergalactic. The matters of war between Russia is what I am scraed more, since Russia is pretty much America level, as for ISIS, it will get better.

OT: NATO's actions are justified but may lead to greater tensions with Russia. The "spearhead" is being formed not solely because of ISIS but to protect NATO states from Russian aggression. NATO doesn't want a repeat of what is happening in Ukraine. Some NATO states have become worried of the possibility of an invasion by Russia.

ISIS can be dealt with, if America wants to go full out. The same thing as Hiroshima and Nagasaki could happen. As for Russia, East Europe is under pressure. They could at any time, stop the Oil System, and then use their War diplomacy to not only take over Ukraine but a lot more then they deserve. With the 2 strongest countries at war...Einsteins nightmare will be completed.

It does no change anything other than now those sissy states will be involved more instead of just US and Brtain.
There is nothing as a global threat. There is a just a threat to NATOs interest.As for Ukraine issue even if you paint them as superhero avengers and spread propaganda they are the saviours of the world Russia will respond.
Even if they were address threats like ISIS it was better off just air strike.It is always better to not die in others war

Spot on with your analysis of Europe. But do you really feel that critical airstrikes in the Middle East would go unchecked? Something tells me if a radical move is made like that (which in all actuality is an internal affair) not only would we lose support but also spread more distrust and fear about the U.S. What would stop us from jumping in and closing out the end to any civil wars/ revolutions and picking the winner?
