Anyway the supreme court with a 5-4 vote made a ruling that basically said that if your a state that allows gay marriage you have to give straight and gay couples the same rights if your a state that does not allow it then nothing changes.

Also a risk of this is that a state that only allowed gay marriage on the premise that they could be treated diffrently could back out or make gay marriage illegal again


So what do yall think is this god / bad and why.

What is the point of the ceremony then ?

If its not recognized its not real and if they get no benefits (Benefits everyone who is in a committed loving relationship) then nothing has changed.

There are also issues with tax fraud in states that legalise it and give benefits ( 2 straight roomates get married to save a legal buck)

thats were your wrong it does concern my life in a couple of ways
1) Every single bill that allows gay marrige has to come up with a way to pay for it and the most common way is tax increase / make the rights different and the 2ed one is now illegal
