- Dark is an advanced kekkei genkei that allows the user to be able to absorb chakra from either the opponent or his technique. The users of this ability are easily recognized with the marks in their hands of two diamonds with one overlapping the other where the upper square is the path or chakra entering and the lower square is the path out when the chakra is absorbed, it is converted into raw chakra and it may be used however the user wishes later.
- Well the main reason why I want to learn dark release is that it fits greatly with my Chrollo Lucilfer bio and also, I love the ability, it is awesome and gives me a lot of idea for customs. In addition, I love the whole aspect of the ability, what it bases on and others.

- The outstanding user known greatly in the Ninja World for this ability is Hiruko.

Didn't really give me a good one, so here.
Meiton is a KG in which the user acts almost as an Organic Fuuinjutsu of sorts, absorbing and releasing physical and spiritual energies (chakra). Because it works, in a sense, like a Fuuinjutsu, the absorbed chakra doesn't actually enter the users Chakra Circulatory System (like what happens with the Rinnegan's absorption abilities) but its kept in the KG mark, as if stored in a separate space within the body. One can say the squares (upper and lower) are much like portals to the sealing space but the sealing space has no connection with the user's chakra. Because of this, the user has little control over the form he can release said chakra. As he releases it, it manifests in a raw energy form rather than a specific elemental one.

Dark Release is strong towards energy based elements because energy absorption is the core ability of dark release. Not only that but Energy is easier to absorb and manipulate than matter. Another thing, Dark is able to absorb things like; Storm, Dust, Scorch and even raw Sage Jutsu.
But when release your opponents technique, if your opponent blocks using any of the following; The four obvious ones; Fire, Wind and Raw chakra along side these more uncommon ones; Sand, Rain, Steam or Boil you will have the upper hand, since dark just eats right though energy based chakra.
While Dark isn't strong against Water and Earth since they are both matter elements and, lets be real you can't absorb something that is matter, just doesn't work like that. Earth suffers double strength towards the absorbing ability of Dark Release (meaning that only an S-Rank Dark release can absorb a B-Rank Earth technique)
And again when release your opponents technique. If your opponent blocks using any of the following; The two obvious ones Earth and Water as well as; Solid Ice, Steel, Wood or Lava. They will overpower your dark as they are matter based.
Dark has been slightly nerfed, lighting can be absorbed, but when pitted against lighting. They will cancel one another out. Obviously have to be the same rank.
The reason I like dark release, it gives you the chance to absorb your opponent attack and redirect it stronger.

I know all the canon techniques require inhaling maw to use but. Just humour me for this next thing.
Try and gather up your lighting chakra in one hand, and your fire chakra in the other hand. Then try and merge the two into dark chakra, it sounds easy enough. But it is not.

Aye sensei I say in response as I begin to mold up my lightning chakra in one hand, that was really easy after having mastered the art but the true difficulty now arose as I also have to build up my fire chakra in the other hand at the same time to combine them both, so as I begin to mold up my fire chakra in the other hand, the molded lightning chakra disperses, this upset me a bit but I quickly controlled myself and tried again, this time I mold up my fire chakra first then as I was about to mold up my lightning chakra next, the same thing happens then I stop and cool off for a short while before closing my eyes then I perform a slow deep breath for a few times before trying the last time, after building up my lightning chakra in one hand real quick, I start to build fire chakra in the other hand slow and steadily but as I felt the lightning chakra dispersing off once again? I paused then with great concentration, I mold up both my fire chakra and lightning chakra at the same time in each hand then open my eyes as I merge them together, that was really hard but I was able to do it

Immediately I saw the fire ball, I extended my right hand forwards as instructed, making sure that the mark on my palm is facing the incoming fire then I concentrate deeply, molding both my katon and raiton chakra simultaneously then I channel it into the symbol of the dark release on my palm to utilize it to immediately absorb the physical and spiritual energy of the incoming fireball into the upper diamond of the mark on my hand before it could do any damage to me.

After hearing the explanation, I simply point out my hands and mold up my meiton chakra to absorb the wind technique into the upper square of my hand, that was easy since I've gotten a hang of it. Then by concentrating harder I use shape and nature manipulation to turn the absorbed chakra into dark waves of chakra which I instantly release out of the lower square of my hand at the clone.

Seeing yet another technique, I once again point out my hands and mold up my meiton chakra to absorb the wind technique into the upper square of my hand. Then by concentrating harder I use shape and nature manipulation to turn the absorbed chakra into an even larger and longer dark wave of chakra which I release out of the lower square of my hand at the clone at long range.

So after absorbing a technique with maw, you will release the chakra in both of your hands. Then by releasing it outwards in the form of a shockwave. At long range the shockwave will push them back, same for mid-range. But if used within short range of your target, it will cause massive internal damage. So this technique is best used when in short range of your target.

Okay so this is one of the new canon techniques that was released a couple weeks back, so I'm not to familiar with it.
So; pretty much get into touching distance of my clone, place your hand on him [hand that has the two diamond marks on it] doing that should allow you to absorb up to 40 points of chakra while remaining touching him. This chakra absorbed can be used as a medium towards other dark release techniques like Judgement.

I have two questions: First, after I absorb one of the target's techniques, how many dark jutsus can I use it for? Second, are the dark release marks on a single hand or both my hands?

On seeing the clone, I perform a quick dash towards him while molding my raiton and katon chakra in the process as I run and on entering short range with the clone, I stop then mold up my meiton chakra and point my hands towards the clone with both my palms facing him. I then use the molded up meiton chakra to release a very powerful dark shock wave from my hands that launches out to hit the clone, dealing severe internal damage to the clone on impact with his body.

I move close to the next clone after understanding fully what I'm to do next and when I get close enough to the clone, I gently place my right hand on his shoulders and by molding up chakra into the lower square on my right palm, I swiftly siphon the clones chakra through the lower square and after which I leap backwards away from the clone.

One technique absorbed = Only one dark technique used per-absorbed technique. Though, there is no limit to how many techniques you can absorb, I mean how mean you can keep stored in your palms, and that's up to the user, if you want to have them on one hand, you may, or if you want them on both hands, you can also.
