[Ken] Nathan-sensei teaches Zanithe Kenjutsu

*Hiccup silently waits under a tree playing with his prosthetic leg.*

 

[Nathan]

Castiel walks up to the training field, he sees the young boy standing there. Castiel then stops once he is close enough to the boy and then proceeds to say: "Hello, my name is Castiel; you can call me either Castiel, or sensei. Up to you. But first what is your name?"

 

[Zanithe]

As he sees his sensei, he quickly stands up and starts speaking
"Good day, Sensei. My name is Hiccup. Thank you for taking me in."

 

[Nathan]

"Nice to meet you, Hiccup. Lets get started shall we? So can you please tell me what you know about kenjutsu, and what you want to learn it?"

 

[Zanithe]

Kenjutsu is a technique that uses swords. It can be used by shinobi and samurai. It can be used with taijutsu, chakra flow, and genjutsu to achieve stronger techniques. The Land of Iron, Seven Swordsmen of the Mist, and Kumogakure practices Kenjutsu.

I would like to learn Kenjutsu because I know it is very helpful in battles. And also I want to pass on whatever I will learn to other RPers.

Okay now I want you to attack my clone using your blade, I want you to explain to me while attacking my clone, how you want to go about it, remember to attack him, use creative moves and stances, I need you to be as detailed as you can, like you're trying to kill my clone. GO!"

Hiccup grabs his blade, and readies attacking Castiel-sensei's clone. He quickly sprints to the clone, and swings his blade from his left to the right. Although Castiel-sensei dodges it (let's just say he does). Hiccup steps on the ground, and holds his blade with his two hands, and swings it again from right to left. [Sensei dodges it again] Hiccup, now kinda annoyed, continues swinging his blade, left to right and right to left and sensei dodges every swing. :T_T: As Hiccup swings his blade over and over again, he stops for a moment, and sensei stops dodging and rests for a moment. Hiccup then tries stabbing him after a 2-second stop from swinging the blade. Sensei gets stabbed, but it's a clone, so yeah, it's gone now.

I'll post the first technique now:

(Ken Rendan no Jutsu) - Sword Barrage Technique

Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 25
Description: With this technique, the user will make a sequence of slashes with their sword and finishes with a powerful final slash dealing liberal damage to their enemy.

Pretty much all you have to do is, get in close and take out your sword, deal about 5 or so slashes in any direction on your targets body; once you have completed and dealt the slashes, deal a powerful final slash where ever you want, I would personally use the make the final strike down the middle of his body.

One/three advantages:

• 1. It is a good technique for finishing a battle
• 2. You can use it continously so you can defeat your opponent fast
• 3. It only takes little chakra but deals great damage.

One/three disadvantages:

• 1. It can be blocked by a higher ranked technique
• 2. Although it simply uses a sword, it still requires chakra
• 3. Higher ranked techniques may break the jutsu

How you would use it in battle: When the enemy is about to lose, it is a cool technique to finish the battle so I'd use it in the near end.
How you would counter it: I would counter it with another sword; a shield higher than C Rank, or maybe
use Substitution
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I get a sword, and run to the target. I first slash him in the stomach from right to left and left to right. I repeat this about 6 times, and then I slash it in the middle part.

Next:

(Ikari Nomikomu no Jutsu) - Fury Swallow Technique

Range: Short
Chakra cost: 10
Damage points: 25
Description: The user punches the opponent a few times and finishes them with two final slashes with their blade or sword.

Go towards your target and perform a simple forward punch and repeat the punching for a few times, then once you have completed that, grab out your sword and perform two slashes anyway you want, at your target. This technique is simple yet effective for such a low ranked technique, and can be used in many combos.

One/three advantages:

• 1. It is very effective for a low ranked technique.
• 2. It great for combos.
• 3. It takes little chakra but deals great damage.

One/three disadvantages:

• 1. When the enemy blocks your punch, you cant proceed with the blade.
• 2. Although only using fists and sword it takes an amount of chakra.

How you would use it in battle: When I find myself in a pinch, I can use it to get back on track by making my enemy feel pain
How you would counter it: I would block it with mu pwn sword, use my fists to block the punches, or substitution.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I run to my enemy and start by raising my right fist and throws a punch. I start throwing another punch with my left fist. I repeat this at least 3 times, and when my enemy feels the punches, I grab my blade and slash my enemy from left to right and right to left.

For this next one, I will give you a tanto to use.

(Enjin Ranbu) - Circular Wild Dance

Description: The user spins with his tantō, hitting the target several times.

Get up close near my clone, then proceed to use the tanto to hit him many times, anyway you want. Silly technique really. >_>

One/three advantages:

• 1. It doesnt require chakra.
• 2. Even without chakra it deals a great amount of damage.
• 3. It is a silly technique to make your enemy chuckle Lol

One/three disadvantages:

• 1. The enemy may use technique to prevent you from getting near him.
• 2. The enemy can use a higher ranked technique to stop you from spinning

How you would use it in battle: I will use it when I'm out of ideas, to make the fight lively.
How you would counter it: I'd block with my tanto/blade, counter with higher ranked tech, or substitution.
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I grab my tanto, and run to my enemy. I start jumping and spinning myslef until I feel dizzy. lol I'd stop when I'm almost dizzy, so my enemy cant find an opening.

(Rakkasui) - Falling Water

Description: The user will drop down upon the opponent from mid air pointing their sword downwards and drilling it down into the opponent.

Somehow get yourself up into the air, around the mid-air side, above your target then with your sword pointing downwards above them, drill the sword down into them. Handy if you are already up in the air.

One/three advantages:

• 1. Does not require chakra
• 2. Really useful when on high place terrain

One/three disadvantages:

• 1. You cant use it when in a plain field
• 2. Enemy can easily dodge by moving aside

How you would use it in battle: When I'm in a battle and I'm on a higher place than my enemy.
How you would counter it: Move aside, block with a strong sword, substitution
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I climb up a mountain/tree/high place, ready my sword. I jump, and with my body and sword downward. I then make sure I'm really above my enemy, and drill them with my sword.

(Bakuchi Tori Kuzu Oujou) – Gambling Bird Arrowroot Death

Description: The user bolts in front of the enemy who they then strike with their sword handle before delivering several kicks that sends the enemy into the air. The user then bolts across to the far off location of the enemy who they then punch violently into an obstacle.

Okay with this one, I want you to run up or bolt as it says towards my clone, using your sword handle I want you to hit the clone once, then proceed to kick him, many times and with the finally kick send him up into the air, now as the clone is falling, I want you to punch him so it sends him flying into the tree behind yes, this technique is good since it's one technique with some many attacks, only bad thing is that is your target manages to block/counter lets say the kicks, the whole technique would else flop.

One/three advantages:

• 1. Many attacks within a jutsu
• 2. It is cool, and it'll make your enemy go down

One/three disadvantages:

• 1. When the enemy blocks your kicks, or sword handle, the technique will fail.

How you would use it in battle: When I need to catch up to my enemy, and when I'm in a pinch in a battle.
How you would counter it: Use high ranked taijutsu to block the kicks, substitution
How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I find an opening in a battle. I grab my sword and hold the sword handle forward. I bolt to my enemy, and hit him in the stomach with the sword handle. When he feels the pain, I start kicking him witg my left foot 5 times. I channel more chakra to my foot to deliver a strong kick and send my enemy flying. When my enemy is about to land, I sprint to his location and punches him and sends him flying,(not flying high, just flying)

(Rensei Shinkuken) – Drilling Crimson Blade

Description: The user takes out their blade and channels chakra into it. They then run towards the opponent, slashing them upwards into the air and then appear above him/her, and deliver a sharp, drilling slash down upon them, impelling them into the ground.

Okay so with this one, you'll need to channel some chakra into your blade from there, run towards my clone, then by using your sword slash your sword upwards on the body of my clone, this should push him into the air, then you'll want to appear above him, by using your sword once more hit him with a drilling slash that sends him into the ground, with of course the sword also impelled into him.
