One/three advantages:
  • 1. Well, this gen isn't too obvious for the first few minutes.
  • 2. They would only go in circles for hours, just plan something out before he finds its a genjutsu
  • 3. The jutsu is doesn't require handseals but it's a good jutsu to deserve some.
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. The enemy won't possibly fall for traveling in a battle for hours
  • 2. Only used for moving enemies
  • 3. Seriously, no one will possibly run for hours.
How you would use it in battle: After some jutsu at a long range, we run at each other to have some hand to hand combat. I use this jutsu to make him run forever (or at least until he finds our)

How you would counter it: After around the time I was supposed to reach my destination and I'm still running, I will doubt it. I will chip a finger to feel pain or use "Genjutsu: Kai".

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I insert my chakra to my enemy's brain as he runs to me. I make him see me in front of him a little far away. I make him see he is still running towards me in like a long time. He still sees I'm at the same distance, and still running. In the real world, he is simply moving in circles. I simply take a nap as he does so.

Good work!

(Genjutsu: Jinmon) - Illusion Technique: Interrogation
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost:15
Damage Points:30
Description: The user of this technique, upon casting on a stationary opponent with physical contact with them, is able to convince the enemy to give away information. However, this will only work on ninja two ranks lower and below than the caster.

Okay this technique only works on non-moving targets they either have to be standing still [which is unlikely] or you have trapped them down somehow, then by using touch you have placed them in a genjutsu, this gen convinces them to give out information they usually wouldn't. But, this technique only works on ninja that are two ranks lower then you, the caster.

One/three advantages:
  • 1. This is useful in NW, giving away info.
  • 2. Such a useul jutsu is in a low rank
  • 3. We don't see info giving jutsus everyday
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. Almost everyone in NW is in a high rank lmao
  • 2. No one stops moving. . .
  • 3. Can't be used in battles, aka useless in battles
How you would use it in battle: After pinning him down with shurikens on the ground, I simply use this jutsu only if he is two ranks lower that is.

How you would counter it: After my enemy shows countless efforts to pin me down, I become extremely cautious. If ever I get caight, I will quickly bite my cheek to feel pain or use "Genjutsu: Kai".

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I throw shurikens that pin my enemy (who is two ranks lower) down. Once he is utterly down, I touch his head with my hand and insert my chakra. I use this gen to make him tell me the info he had about the unreleased special edition of Icha Icha. After, I leave to steal a copy.

Good work man.

(Genjutsu: Jigoku Gouka) - Illusion Technique: Hell Fire
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 15
Damage Points:N/A
Description: The user casts an illusion where the opponent sees a huge ball of fire descending from the sky and enveloping its target.

Just by looking at my clone, you will place him in this genjutsu, but of course you need insert your chakra into his brain, this technique makes the clone believe they are seeing a big ball of fire coming from the sky, this technique can be used in a lot of different situations. Example, you could cast this, and then use a water technique, or something along those lines, the range is good for a low rank, and for genjutsu in general.

Thanks Nathan-sensei! ^^

One/three advantages:
  • 1. Man won't he panic when he sees that fireball
  • 2. This gen is very compatible for combinations ie using fire jutsu at the same time so it wont be obvious or something like that
  • 3. It's useful for making the enemy waste chakra, ie its very huge, one might deduce its around A rank so he'll counter with some B rank water jutsu
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. The enemy can know its a gen when like I use it and it didnt come out of my mouth etc etc.
  • 2. When my enemy knows I'm low on fire (and I really am) he'll suspect why I am using one.
  • 3. This jutsu does not require seals—surpisingly I think that's bad. The enemy might suspect it really isnt a fire jutsu.
How you would use it in battle: After a Fire vs (insert a cool element) fight where I use fire, I'll mix this gen within my fire moves. The enemy won't notice and instead think of it as a real fire jutsu, and he uses a high rank Water jutsu and waste chakra etc etc.

How you would counter it: So, a descending giant Fireball coming upon me when my enemy did not use any seals. That is very suspicious so I'll take the chance to bite my cheek or use Genjutsu: Kai.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I look at my enemy while inserting my chakra into his brain. In his mind, he sees a huge fireball, maybe 20 times bigger than him, descend upon him from the sky. The clone panics and suddenly uses an A Rank something Water jutsu and wastes chakra, only to realize its just a genjutsu.

Swell.

(Genjutsu: Kasumi no Jutsu) - Illusion Technique: Mist Technique
Rank: C
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra cost: 15
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user creates an illusionary clone that charges towards the enemy, jumps, then explodes in a cloud of cherry blossom petals which results in confusing the opponent and obscuring their vision, leaving them open for attack.

With this one, look at your target; thus inserting your chakra into there brain, the target will see a clone run towards them, the clone explodes in a cloud of cherry blossoms, which in the end confuse the target, I can see this being a very obvious genjutsu, personally. There is no technique besides this and a few other genjutsu techniques, that use this method. But, I guess the good thing about this technique is that it does leave them open to an attack, and the range is good.

One/three advantages:
  • 1. Can leave him open for an attack
  • 2. As the gen clone runs toward the enemy you can plan your next evil plan
  • 3. Range is good. (sorry out of ideas)
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. Another obvious one. Now now most clones are done with handseals and stuff.
  • 2. Why is everything about blossom sakura petals etc etc. Somehow this things aren't really distracting
  • 3. Some keen obverver will see throught it ie he watches how you do handseals, he notices you didnt perform some so he becomes suspicious
How you would use it in battle: So after some hand to hand combat with awesome tai or ken techs and stuff, I decide to use this to make him think I want two more hands to defeat him. And then he tries battling it, blossoms appear, and I appear to finish him off as he deduces the situation

How you would counter it: Simply by being a keen observer. When a clone appears without him using any seals it means its not a clone, I'll quickly bite my cheek or use Genjutsu: Kai.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): After fighting my enemy with tai and ken attacks, we both grow tired so I decide to mix some gen a little. I insert my chakra to his brain and makes him see me creating a clone. The clone runs to him and jumps readying a kicking stance. As he does some cool defensive stance the clone fades away to blossom petals. As he sees the scene I stealthily run to him. As he becomes confuses of the clone's fading-into-blossoms I quickly kick him for being unobservant.

Illusion Technique: Hell Fire
So, I recently dug up some fire techs and saw that there really is a fire tech called Hell Fire. So this jutsu is actually more realistic than I thought it was. I really like the giant fireball, which in case Hell Fire is an A Rank. So the opponent may deduce that it is an A Rank, making him counter with some B Rank water or stuff. Nah, maybe it's just cool and we hadn't had this much genjutsus around this topic.

Illusion Technique: Mist Technique
Even though I can't list three proper advantage on it, it's because its usefulness is all packed onto one advantage. This is a good sneak attack. I've been thinking of some gen combinations and so far I liked this one, you can do lots of sneak attacks with it. So far there are only a few C Ranks so this one ranked O.O"

Well done. Welcome to B-ranks, now!

(Magen: Nijū Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu) Demonic Illusion: Double False Surroundings Technique
Type: Supplmentary
Rank: B-Rank
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description:
The user will do a sequence of 3 handseals, putting his opponents under a double layered Genjutsu. The user is able to create false surroundings to fool his targets, much like the simpler version of the technique. However, the illusion is in fact layered. If the opponent manages to release the first one, he will then feel the effects of the second illusion. If, for example, the first illusion is that of a desert and the second that of a forest, upon releasing the first one, the opponent will see the desert fade away while the forest appears around him, making him think he dispelled the illusion while in essence he is still caught in one. Each illusion is equivalent to C-Rank and both are casted at the same time. While normal releases will release only one illusion at a time, a strong enough pain or an external source of chakra can dispel both at the same time.

Okay like it's parent technique; but a little different and better if used the right way. Perform the seals, with the last handseal placing my clone in the genjutsu, what's so good about this technique it's double layer genjutsu, so just think of the parent technique where it makes the target think the environment has changed; if the target breaks out of the first layer, the second one is still there, the target will think they have broken out of the gen completely but no! They still haven't, good technique over all, if you actually manage to pull it off!

One/three advantages:
  • 1. A lot better than the parent technique
  • 2. When the enemy releases himself, he'll think he's free. Actually there is another one.
  • 3. Each one is a C Rank, which is pretty high
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. Like the parent, it can easily be figured out. He's battling to death wih me in an arena and suddenly we are in a desert.
  • 2. One can easily find out it is a genjutsu becuase of the sudden change in surroundings
  • 3. Kind of a mid range. (sorry out of ideas O.O")
How you would use it in battle: After a fierce ninjutsu fight, element fight or something, both of us are tire and exhausted. I perform this jutsu. As he tries to figure it out, I ready some kind of jutsu requiring some setting. After he figures it out, I attack him just after getting out of it.

How you would counter it: Actually, maybe to counter most genjutsu all of us should be observant xD. So we are battling in a forest. Suddenly I am in a desert. I release myself with Kai or stabbing myself minorly. And I am now in a jungle. Okay I'll do the same process.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can):
As me and my foe finished some elemental clashes, I perform three handseals and insert my chakra into my foe's brain. I make the first illusion a desert with no one in it and the second with a jungle with trees (the scary ones). As he sees himself in a desert he doubts the thing and releases himself with Kai. As he sees himself in a jungle he gets creeped out but figures it's also a gen because he knew we were fighting in a forest. He releases himselby stabbing himself in a minor way. As he goes back to original world, I stab himself killing him u.u

Maybe if we are in a forest, and suddenly a łake appears, I release myself. The lake disappears and an odd looking tree appears. All of this wasn't there before the genjutsu. So I release myself. If I sense anything odd, I have to try releasing myself. Usually a simple change in my surroundings, like a tree appears when nothing was previously there, I have to doubt it.

Alrightly!

(Konoha-Ryū: Yanagi) - Leaf Ninja Art: Willow
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 35
Description: The user waves their sword back and forth, which when seen by the target locks them in a genjutsu which causes them to hallucinate multiple waving arms. The movement resembles that of a willow tree blowing in the wind. With the enemy off guard, the user is free to cut them down.

Okay so with this one, you wave your sword back and forth, by doing this, this initiates the genjutsu, the target will believe they are seeing multiple waving arms, using this technique places the target off guard so you can cut him down, downsides about this technique, requires a sword, and the range is meh. But could be handy here and there, I've never used it so I have yet to correctly get the full potential out of this technique.

One/three advantages:
  • 1. I'm a kenjutsu user so I will be able to use this fluently.
  • 2. I like the concept, making them see waving arms and then I slash them down. Awesome lol
  • 3. I think this would be very easy to pull off
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. The range is understandable but its still a meh
  • 2. Why does this feel like more of a ken tech (except for the hands)
  • 3. The technique itself can be easily deciphered by thinking why I have many hands O.O"
How you would use it in battle: So while we are doing a ken fight, I will do this tech at him. He will be confused by seeing multiple hands instead of my sword, and as he figures out what the hell is happening, I slash him down lol

How you would counter it: No no, my enemy cannot have many hands. He is holding a sword and suddenly many hands.... This is suspicious enough. I would use Genjutsu: Kai or stabbing myself minorly.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): After a fierce fight, I quickly take my sword and run at my foe. I swing my sword back and forth after I insert my chakra in his brain. As I swing my sword back and forth, my foe sees multiple hands waving like that of a willow tree. As he wonders why there are so many waving hands, I quickly cut him in the stomach in a vertical position. This releases himself from the genjutsu. He then wonders why the hell was he cut.

With that next:

(Magen: Hanarasui) - Demonic Illusion: Flower Head Death
Rank: B
Type: Offensive/Supplementary
Range: Short- Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: 40 due to stress on the mind
Description: The user will trap the target within an illusion where the opponent appears to be trapped in a large flower bud which then explodes. The opponent is made to believe that an explosion actually occurred and collapses, believing himself to be injured. The resulting stress on his mind causes damage.

So; this one, I think you just look at the target and thus places them in this gen, this technique will make the target think they are trapped in a large flower bud, which blows up. The target will think the explosion actually happening; leaving the target with metal damage on them. I personally find this technique really, really obvious.

One/three advantages:
  • 1. That explosion sounds good.
  • 2. A large flower sounds kinda disturbing, well its weird if I see it personally o_O
  • 3. I bet this jutsu has a neat range for itself.
One/three disadvantages:
  • 1. Lol no one can be trapped in a large flower bud.
  • 2. 100% OBVIOUS .___.
  • 3. That mental stress XD, but no one would fall for it ._.
How you would use it in battle: After some elemental thingy fights, I become kinda bored so I mix the elements up with some genjutsu. Basically I'll use it in rare times that I cannot think of some moves.

How you would counter it: Who would believe they are in a giant flower bud? Anyway, I would not fall for that so after seeing myself in one, i'll quickly use Genjutsu: Kai or stab myself minorly.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): I look at my enemy and insert my chakra to his brain at the same time. Being as less girly as a girl, I make him see that he is in a big pink flower bud. The pink is so vibrant and bright that its mere existence burns me. As his eyes are burning from the pink, (lol), it suddenly explodes. He experiences mental stress from the explosion, and of course, the pink. However he failed to realize that the explosion was fake lol

It really is. Isn't the best of the genjutsus.

(Magen: Jubaku Satsu) - Demonic Illusion: Tree Binding Death
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage Points: N/A
Description: The user makes five handseals, and appears to dissolve into a mist. Once they stealthily approach the target and get within short-range, the opponent feels completely immobilized, and believes they have been bound by a fast-growing tree and are unable to move. The user then appears as if they emerge from the tree to attack the target. In reality, the target is immobilized, allowing the user to strike or interrogate them.

This technique is best used with that water technique mist; you will perform a set of five seals from there, the target will see you dissolve into a mist, and once you get into short range, the target will think they are bound to a tree that just rapid grows out of the ground, then your target will see you coming out from the tree to attack them, which ever way you see fit, but outside the illusion; the target is unable to move, so allowing you to attack them or whatever. As I said before best used with a mist like technique so it's harder for them to get out of it.

Small little quiz question: What Naruto character used this? And, who did they use this against?

One/three advantages:
  • 1. The mist seems convincing.
  • 2. That bind looks awesome.
  • 3. Pretty hard to escape.
One/three disadvantages:

  • 1. Somehow no one would believe a tree rapidly growing
  • 2. The range is kinda bad for such a jutsu
  • 3. The interrogation seems useless because it doesnt force the enemy to reveal the info.
How you would use it in battle: Just when I need to keep someone on hold. Like he must not escape.

How you would counter it: After seeing my enemy dissolve I have to watch out. As a tree rapidly grows behind I wound myself minorly or use Genjutsu: Kai immediately.

How you perform it (with as much detail as you can): My foe and I are starting short range from each other. I perform four handseals and insert my chakra to his mind. He sees me dissolve like a mist. He starts wondering. A tree rapidky grows behind him and it binds him, well that's what he sees. I emerge from the upper part of the tree holding a kunai. I stab him and he falls to the ground.

Answer: It's Kurenai Yuhi. She used it against Kisame Hoshigaki and Itachi Uchiha when they went to the Leaf.

Awesome!

(Genjutsu: Ingemame Ketsugō Sakkaku) - Illusion Technique String Bean Binding Illusion
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: Similar to Illusion Technique: Tree Binding Death, where the user first disappears, while the target sees several bean vines growing from the ground. These vines bind the target body, lifting them into the air. Then a bean pod rises from the ground to reveal the user, ready to strike. In reality, the opponent is immobilized by the illusion, allowing the user to strike.

Similar to the last technique you learnt, but with small changes, as you just disappear I'd think like the latter. That starts the genjutsu, the target will see bean vines grow from the ground, and grabbing the target lifting them up into the air, then a bean pod emerges from the ground showing the caster, about to start the target. Seems what rather again obvious imo. I wouldn't use it, but if you were in a area with plants that big you could maybe pull it off.
