[Theory] Narutos weapon (halberd)

In my opinion how naruto can come across this weapon is maybe a person weapon of the kyubi or a secret summon of his .

This came from the history and myths of ginkaku and kinaku journey of the west

Both Kinkaku and Ginkaku are based on two characters from the Chinese classic "Journey to the West". In this story; the siblings are two demon king brothers, known as the Great King Kinkaku (金角大王, Kinkaku-daiō) and the Great King Ginkaku (銀角大王, Ginkaku-daiō), who live in the Lotus Cave (蓮華洞, Rengedō) on Mt Heichō (平頂山, Heichōzan). They possess five treasured tools, called the Amber Purifying Pot (琥珀の浄瓶, Kohaku no Jōhei), the Seven Star Sword (七星剣, Shichiseiken), the Banana Palm Fan (芭蕉扇, Bashōsen) the Golden Canopy Rope (幌金縄, Kōkinjō), and the Crimson Gourd (紅葫蘆, Benihisago). Amongst these, the pot and the gourd are capable of sucking in their opponents and melting them, once they are trapped within. Ginkaku is also said to have a technique that allows him to move mountains.
The demon king brothers' mother and uncle also appeared in the novel. Their uncle, Hu A'qi was a fox that fought with a halberd and lived close to his nephews. Their mother was a nine-tailed fox in the disguise of an old woman who lived in the Dragon-suppressing Cave.
The fact the demon king brothers' mother was a nine-tailed fox, is an allusion to how Kinkaku and Ginkaku possess the Nine-Tailed Fox's chakra after being trapped in its stomach.
Due to the brothers' ability to assimilate the Nine-Tails' chakra by eating its meat, the Fourth Raikage suspected them to be distantly related to the Sage of the Six Paths.

hmm interesting, im not sure i like the idea of naruto having a personal weapon that only he has tbh im content with his kunai.
but halbards look badass.

i like it... but this is solely based on gin/kin, so I'm trying to tie that in with Naruto (the both have the fox, but if anything, gin/kin should've had the halberd)

Naruto needs a weapon.. I would love to see him use Danzo's Fuuton Kunai or something along those lines. I wouldn't complain about him getting a halbard either. His dad had the cool Kunai (even though it was for FTG he could have used anything for the FTG seal)

That weapon in the picture is actually called a kuandao or also known as the horse chopper, because of its long pole and blade gave you great leverage,enough to chop off the legs of a running horse. The name itself , Dao is what the chinese call a sabre or broadsword and the word Kuan comes from lord kuan gong, or some of you are familiar with him as kuan yu. Personally, that is one of my favorite weapons, I would love to see Naruto rock one of these. I don't mean to be such a red pencil but a halbard is a spear with at least one blade on the side.

i agree, its about time for naruto to be a weapon that speaks to his personality. but i am hopeful bee will solve all this. bc be said they were still training. so maybe bee will teach naruto more than just how to use his tailed beast. it could be as simple as bee giving naruto a weapon bc he has his new weapon.

lawl along these lines sasuke is probably keeping one of those ball gags with him just to be able to stop naruto's talk-no-jutsu when he shows up.

Hand-to-hand weapons are often neglected, despite being the coolest. I prefer him to stick with using Asuma's knives, which are pretty much bladed knuckles. Would be nice if he started using them cuz he's starting to get boring.

I would say that Rasengan is his Close quarters weapon. But I would prefer him to also have a edged weapon. If its not his dad's Kunai or Danzo's Wind Kunai technique. I would say a nice Samurai sword.

I don't remember which episodes in the anime. One of the endings had Naruto and Sasuke both with samurai swords. It looks like it would fit him well..

The Chakra Blades are pretty cool too. I could see him using them also. But they are a bit boring visually.
