This is a prediction. Caveat: Following some comments I got earlier, I am not predicting that things will happen exactly as written; I predict that something similar to this is going to happen. Take it or leave it 
Obito has been defeated. The Bijuu are recreated. Madara is no more.
The remnants of the Shinobi army gather around Naruto, Sasuke, the Hokages, Orochimaru and the 5 kage.
In silence, they rest after the fight and consider the situation.
Suddenly, Naruto speaks
Naruto: I want to thank you all for your help! This is a victory of all the shinobi, and it will change the shinobi world!
Everyone looks at him.
Naruto (sadly): Please, say a prayer for all those who have fallen. Remember your colleagues, as I will always remember Neji and all the others!
There is one Shinobi that I want to honor most of all. He gave his life for this victory, and is a savior of Konoha and all the shinobi world.
I am speaking of Uchicha Itachi.
Sasuke looks startled at Naruto. All other shinobi look at him in surprise and shock.
Naruto: I have met Itachi when he was still under the control of the Edo Tensei. Previously, he gave me power that was able to free him from the control of Kabuto. Itachi then helped me to defeat Nagato. Without his help, me and Bee would never have made it to the battlefield.
Then, Itachi decided to stop the Edo Tensei.
Tsuchikage (shocked): Was he the one who stopped it?!
Naruto: That's right. He did it to protect Konoha. His whole life was devoted to the protection of his village.
Sasuke looks shocked at Naruto's frank words.
Naruto: Itachi was blamed for killing his clan. In reality, Obito was the one responsible for this massacre. Obito used the Kyuubi to attack Konoha, knowing that Konoha leaders would suspect the Uchiha. Later, Obito killed his clansmen. Itachi agreed to take the blame for him, in exchange for the life of his brother, Sasuke!
Sasuke tries to speak, but stops. He looks seriously at Naruto.
Naruto: Itachi fulfilled his part of the bargain, but still did his best to protect the village. He joined Akatsuki as a spy for Konoha. He did not know then that Akatsuki was controlled by Obito.
He did his best to stop Akatsuki from capturing me.
Itachi then enticed Sasuke to kill him, trying to awaken his Mangekyo Sharingan. He believed that Sasuke would become stronger by taking his eyes, and would continue to protect the village. And as a result, Sasuke helped us to save the Shinobi world!
Please, remember Itachi, the hero of the Hidden Leaf. I beg the Hokage to honor his memory by engraving his face over the village of Konoha!
Tsunade, Sakura, Kakashi and Sasuke look shocked.
Sasuke opens his mouth to speak... His eyes are full of tears.
