Naruto's unexpected reaction.

I'm surprised at the lack of threads regarding Narut's reaction. When I saw the last page I went "Ooh come on, what the ****!?". I had been anticipating his reaction to be a bit more... shocked, and happy. It was a real let down. I've seen that some think he sensed him, but Naruto's not a sensor type, and his chakra mode can only sense negative emotion. I doubt his sage mode noticed him either.

While I'm at it I might aswell ask what the hell that thing coming out of the Juubi's mouth is. What was it? Some sort of build up for his beast ball?

A lot of things were odd, the whole alliance learned some hand seals and now they can use earth style?

I liked Narutos reaction, remember, some of the Sasuke scenes might be happening at the same time as the Naruto scenes, Naruto was in Sage Mode, perhaps he was shocked about the Juubi annnnd feeling familar chakra, it is a long shot but who knows.

Naruto knows he is gonna fight along side his pappy, he is allowed to act cool.

Madara sensed Hashirama a few chapters back so maybe Naruto sensed Minato. He was having a staring contest with the Juubi so we saw the Juubi's POV but that doesn't mean Naruto wasn't aware of the others heading toward the battlefield.

I kinda agree with you about his reaction however, I do think in some way that his sage mode indeed sensed his dad and while he isn't a sensor type himself Kurama could even have sensed Minato and the other Edo Kages from miles. He just didn't want to distract Naruto by mentioning it in the midst of battle.

And as far as that thing coming from the Juubi's mouth is quite possibly the a bloomed bud from that bulb it had on its back. Perhaps when the Juubi transformed, it took the bulb in and in its latest transformation, it bloomed for doom.

the bulb in his mouth was how the juubi attacked thats why he said hes going back to his original form he was just like that to attack.. it has been confirmed already that this is the second to last transformation already thats why the 8 tails had to clarify and b had to say we gotta prevent it from transforming

Remember the host at time tense to gain there tailed beast abililties they don't really have to use there tailed beast mode for it for instants bee can spit out ink out his mouth without transforming and mito could sense negative emotions I doubt when she did this her beast mode was like naruto or that she transformed to do this.
